Looks really cool GT.  It should be really sharp when complete.

Thanks but it is more of being carful with the old decals and measuring before I masked.  I wish I could detail and weather like some of you on here.

On Ed's bench, ???

I was so inspired by that wicked looking City of Jacksonville, I picked one up on Ebay with free shipping from Korea!! This, when done (someday Tongue Tied) will complete the full set: 100, 101, 102, 104, 105 and 106!!

Thanks,

I just wish I had the Hasegawa boxing with these markings.  Decals would have been fresher.

Well after a long hiatus from modeling, due to work and building my paint booth, I have finally done "something". I have done my pre shading/weathering. Now I know I need more practice with the airbrush, and it does look a mess, I think it will look a little better as the camo goes on? Please know this is something I've never done before, and never heard of until looking on this site and others. Here are some pics:

Got my City of Jacksonville today in the mail from Korea. Unfortunately, it can't be done for this GB, but, it is the 6th and last model I've been wanting to finish the entire Century Set. Someday, I'll post all 6 posed together. She's the same 106 that I quit on at the start of this GB, so, I'm going into it nervous. The wing roots leave a horrible gap and they will do the same on this kit, but, I have a better sealing plan in mind for this time around so I can save my sanity!!

MW -  It should look pretty cool once painted.  I have yet to pre-shade a model.  I plan on doing it with the Zero I'm working on (very slowly).

Rob - Were you going to pick up the 107?

Flyer...yeah, it's definitely on the list, but, way down the road. My LHS has one but I haven't picked it up yet. I'll do an F-111 too, just for fun, even though it not in the 'true' Century line.

OK, so I have worked on the burner-can and gotten the belly painted. The burner-can looks alright, I guess. I used Tamiya  Weathering set D. Too bad these are somewhat toxic. I am happy with the paint on the belly, if I can get the camo scheme to go on nicely with the pre-shade coming through.......Big Smile.

Well, now I see a blip on the wheel well.

Here's an update of todays work. The tan looks a little dark to me but it is the FS# from Vallejo Model Air.

Any comments welcome.
