Has anyone thought about or already done any research into Keith Miller's (Cricket Legend who recently passed away) Mosquito that he flew in WWII? I've had a search but can't find anything.

You guys must be reading my mind.
I have started to do a bit of research on Miller, but the details are a bit scant at this stage. What I have found out to date is:
In 1942 Miller joined the RAAF and qualified as a pilot that November. Travelling to England via America, he met Peggy Wagner, his future wife, in Boston, Massachusetts.
In England "Dusty" Miller (as he was known in the RAF) flew Tigers and Beauforts, before becoming a Mosquito pilot with No 169 Squadron. I don't know exactly when Miller joined 169 Sqn, but I'll keep looking.
In January 1944 169 Squadron received its operational equipment in the form of Mosquito Mk.II night fighters and these were immediately used to begin night intruder operations against German night fighters both in advance of the bomber stream and against enemy airfields. The squadron used Mosquito MK.II until July 1944 when they upgraded to the Mosquito Mk.VI. The squadron refitted with the Mosquito Mk.XIX in Jan of 1945.
The Mosquito Mk.II's and Mk.VI's carried the squadron code VI.
I'll keep looking to try and dig up some further info on a particular aircraft that Miller flew.
Cheers
Darren
