Mighty score on the Corsair Dodgy. You are going to be powerful lovin' that kit. Look forward to it over in the Memorial GB.

My latest purchase came in today.  A new manufacturer for me, Dora Wings, and a warbird I've long wanted to build.

The box is much smaller than I expected it would be, but on the other hand, that means there remains sufficient space to add a couple more of Dora Wings' releases that I have my eyes on:  the French Marcel Bloch MB.151 and a forerunner to the P-47, the P-43 Lancer.

I have another shipment coming in soon, this being a set of resin tires for the Ju87 that I'm building right now.  The kit wheels were hot garbage.

Ferg: Hope you like her. I've never built that specific kit but still I love the 1/48th Tamiya Corsair. One of the best kits I've ever built.

Aggieman: Ohhhhhhhhhh, love that! The P-63 isn't something you see a lot but still a nice looking plane!

The Lamborghini was out of stock when I got the last order from HobbyLink Japan. It came earlier this week.

I ordered a few more things on HLJ's Autumn sale to fill out the order.

I had a dozen Japanese tanks but no Shin Hoto- aka the second turret for the Type 97 with the high velocity 47mm gun.

And this special edition kit with a Zvezda La-5 and a Gavia La-7. The box is so friggin' big I think it booted me into a more expensive shipping bracket... Sad

Really nice booklet- almost a book. It's all in Czech, the photos are amazing though! And decals for about twenty fighters- both La-5 and La-7!

Aggie & Gamera, those are some fine additions! Very nice scores guys!

This arrived yesterday in the mail. It comes in individual slab forms that can be arranged in what configuration you prefer, then paint up. The perfect base for my Cold War Red Air Force

Joe and Gamera: I've had a look in the box and can't believe the quality and detail of the Tamiya Corsair. Really looking forward to it, just hope I can do it justice. Wingy things are not my favourite genre.

Aggieman that's a cool looking beast. Dora Wings have also just released a 1/48 Vultee Vengance with Aussie markings. It retails here for about $70 Aus, which is a lot, but I am tempted.

Stik and Gamera: Nice pickups. The Soviet runway matting is interesting.

Aggie: Sweet kit. I'm unfamiliar with Dora Wings myself. I'll be interested in your assessment.

Cliff: Lovely lot you got yourself. That La-7 dual combo is awesome.

Stik: Those airfield plates are choice. I have some Soviet subjects that would look good on those. Where did you score those at?

I just got this nice little 1/72 kit in the mail after winning it at FB auction.

Nice snags, everyone - well done!  Joe, I like the Dinah, a mate of mine back in the 70s built one (I'm not sure whose make it was) & it turned out a beauty.

Great pick up with the Dinah Joe. It should build into a great model.

Thanks to Hutch and Bish for putting this kit into my head I ordered this from Scalehobbyist. $32.89 for the kit was good enough to push me through. Considering that it comes with a metal barrel, that's quite a bargain. Opted to pick up the tracks since they were available. Always admired the Centurion tank. Glad to have it now.

Welcome to the Centurion Owners' club, Joe!  It does look like a great kit, and you got it at a good price, too.  I think I'll try to start mine early next year - I have some stuff to get off my bench first.

Thanks Hutch. I forgot to mention that I also ordered the DEF mantlet for it and it is enroute.

Yes, a Cent doesn't look like a Cent without one of those.  Edit - oops, pressed "enter" too early! - it really should be included in the kit as standard.

Pat: I had to look that up- yeap it was a literal flying car! What a cool model. I'd wish it were bigger though- maybe a car scale like 1/25th.

Tojo: Great deal there! Those are all awesome kits!

Pat: That is a slick little kit. Certainly not one you see every day.

Tojo: Excellent haul. Glad to see you finally added the P-38. No doubt, Scalehobbyist wins the shipping wars hands down.

I just received my HLJ box yesterday so now I can put up all my latest, including some I received a month ago

First off, from HLJ. I've been wanting to try figures for a while and have watched several tuts on YouTube, enough to see that I won't be as good as them and will likely fail, ut for around $7 ea I figured, what the he**

Next was something I never tried before...Track links.

Now you may be saying, why did he buy track links, the dummy! Well that's coming up.

Our very own GAF was kind enough to send his raffle winnings from a show.

Can't do without an F-4 right?

Also, one of my favorite jets. I'll have to find some intresting sutable decals for this one.   Maybe a Texas flag

This is what the tracks are for. After watching Uncle Night Shift, he has really gotten me intrested in armor.

Next up is a kit that I needed to replace from Sprue Brothers. I had the Revell one but the tracks didn't fit and it was a disaster.

And finally. I enjoyed the Arma Hobbies Hurricane so much that I bought their new F4F-4.

and I have a M-41 in the stash and needed some crew for it so I bought and ARVN tank crew for it. It just came in a bag so heres what the add looked like. hey are for the M-113 but what the heck. I can make them fit. And I'm sure I'll make as big a mess out of them as I will the big figures

I have an ICM Tiger on the pile.  If memory serves when I looked at it, Trumpeter has nothing on them as far as parts count.

Overall, nice pick-ups

Whoa! Whatta haul Steve!!! I love those figures!!!

And I've never built any ICM armour so I don't know how the Tiger II will go. One thing I do like about them is the Royal Tiger is such a big friggin' tank you don't have too many tiny fiddly bits.

Wow what a haul Steve!  I did the Galland figure some time ago and the kit is nice and it comes with two heads so you can screw one up :).  I have another one in the stash as the first didn't survive a few moves.

Thanks,

John
