Nice pickups Gamera and BK!

Decided I didn’t have enough figures and needed another three boxes. Wanting to improve my figure painting and like to have a variety of different ones to work on.
The ICM figures are for a diorama idea I have in the future. The Dragon British infantry I picked up just because they are rather hard to find. The Soviet Engineers/Sappers I picked up after reading about a sappers experience during WWII on the Eastern Front.

Something I was very excited to finally get was the Rye Field Challenger II TES.

It went out of stock very quickly once released and any that I could find were more then I was willing to pay. SprueBrothers finally got a shipment and I quickly ordered one. Think I will order the PE set made by Rye Field as well since the PE slate armor looks superior to the plastic ones in the kit.

I picked up a few more sets of decals. I've pulled out the rest of my hair trying to use Hasegawa decals on current Zero build. I'm hoping these work out much better- I've never tried PrintScale.

And I didn't like the decals that came with my Tamiya P-38 so I picked up another set. Plus another set for whenever I get around to building the late model Hasegawa kit.

Oh those are cool!

Pat: The Grace's odd 'cranked' wing would make an interesting feature on a kit-bashed aircraft. But it's a really nice kit to just build on it's own.

Thanks lewbud, Not sure I will put it together though.  It's 1/72.  I didn't check the scale before I bought it.  If I do it I will look for the correct decals.

Willuride,

Nice score!  The markings in the F-16 are incorrect (primarily the serial number).  Caracal Decals makes the correct decals for the prototype (not this kit) and the flight demonstrator which can be modeled with the Revell kit.

Pat,

The Avro kit is intriguing.  I hope it's built soon.

PFJN

AVRO

I picked up the AVRO kit just because I thought it was an interesting aircraft that I had never heard of before, but the other three planes I initially bought with the intention of trying to use them as a basis for a kitbashed plane for the "Steampunk, Diesel Punk, & Other" group build.  However, once I got each kit I kind of realized that they are nice models in their own right and am debating finishing them maybe OOB instead.

I have the 707A and it’s a nice kit too.  If you do build your 707C, it would make a nice companion to the new Airfix Vulcan coming out at the end of the year.

Good grief, everyone is piling on the kit purchases!  Ha-ha, I’m falling behind!

Grace

I also have a 1/48 Defiant that I recently bought somewhere too, but must have misplaced it when cleaning my house Indifferent

Arrived today - Vallejo Model Air Acrylics set for WWII British/BEF armour & vehicles, covering the early war period.  I'm building Tamiya's 1/35 Matilda Mk III/IV & wanted to do the UK-based version, but following the instructions' painting guide didn't look right.  A base coat of XF52 on the lower hull & running gear left it looking like a bar of milk chocolate & completely "un-tanky".  The set has all I'll need, and more besides - the future may hold some more BEF wheels & tracks!

Vell, Zaphod's just zis guy, you know?

Nothing special today.  Went to Hobby Lobby and picked up the F/A-18E and the A-10.  I now have 3 A-10's and five or six F-18's  Really can't get enough.  I got the Top Gun F/A-18E and not realizing until I got back to the camper that the F-16A is 1/72.  Oh well.  I'll put that together some day.  I got some paints and tools as my hobby room is three hours away and needed something to do while I am in transition of moving.

John, the Swordfish is super cool. And the Midget is sweet also, I would build both for sure.

Joe, wow, another nice haul. All very cool, but the GT-40's...

That is interesting to know Bish Thanks.

It appears that Postimage is cooperating this morning so, as promised, here is the remainder of the car model lot I obtained.

The Revell kit with Ken Miles Daytona win markings was what I was initially after. It is a rebox of the Fujimi kit and that is fine by me.

Been wanting a 427 shaleby Cobra. So, I filled that need.

And then some additonal coolness.

JOE RIX

I am duly impressed with everyone's latest prizes. Such wonderful stuff.

Bruce: That Yamato turret is absolutely boss. That should be a fun build.

Gamera: I like the Caddy. Cool as can be.

Greysnake: The Opel is a unique find. Nice!

BK: Woohoo! You've certainly been doing your due diligence on loading the stash.                   Outstanding choices. As you will soon see, I also scored a Cobra. Well done.

Bish: I was not aware that AFV did 8 wheelers. I am very interested to hear how they             are. Nice pick up.

Keavdog: You done well in your own right. Wonderful additions. I really like the Midget.

They also have the 231, 232 and 263. First released in 2012. Be nice if they produced some 6 wheelers.

I am a Norfolk man and i glory in being so
