Cool Joe.  I have the GT on order.

I'll tell ya keav, it's a fine looking kit having just pulled it out for inspection.

I got some $$ for my B-day last week and bit the bullet and ordered up this beauty that I've been wanting but, never had the extra cash for it. Very nice looking upon gazing on it.

Just a couple of choice additions lately. Very excited about the Ford GT.

Thanks Gamera.  I've been building up a stash of a handful of weird/unique looking planes.  Meanwhile this just came in the mail today.  I'm a little nervous though, since the parts for the treads alone look like they take up almost 40% of the box.  It looks like each link is 6 pieces Surprise.  I'm thinking it may sit in my stash for awhile, till i get up the will to try and tackle the treads.

Pat: Now that's an interesting looking aircraft!

John: I love those airliners. Lol, the 'Airplane!' scheme is going to be awesome!

GreySnake & Mrchntmarine: And it's always nice to see some military hardware. Yes

My Red Army continues to grow. Not sure when I went from prefering German armor to Russian.

How about the. -80,  the prototype.

Boeing hauled it back and restored it a few years ago

So - I picked up these on a site called Bonanza - really cheap.  I've been wanting some of the older airliners - the engines are so much different.

I will do the 737-200 in Hooters livery.  Gotta find something interesting for the 707 (still factory sealed!)

Thanks,

John

I have not built an F-16 in a very long time, and I have wanted to do one of the Tamiya versions.I was also able to stock up on some Modelmaster paints before they were gone from Scalehobbyist.

Love the skycrane.  They are based about 125 miles from me.  They had one at the airshow a couple of years ago.

Now that is one subject that has been sorely neglected.  A new tooled, highly detailed kit would be most welcome.  And reboxes with parts and markings for civil operators would be icing on the cake.

There is another Hs 129 on the way too. It is a fabulous kit.

I suggest you have a go at it.

Some good goin's on a happenin' here.

Brandon: Bravo on the B-29 score. I'm glad you have room and a plan for it.

Snap: Boy Howdy! You sure like to go big. Wonderous collection you've accumulated. I'm liking that ZM Hs-129. I've given that one some consideration myself.

keavdog: I am absolutely loving that Skycrane. I am doubly loving your plans for it. When I worked as a wildland firefighter I had several opportunities to work with these. It was awesome. I can tell you that when one of these came in with a drop you wanted to be well clear of it as the impact would topple dead trees, snap tree limbs and throw all sorts of debris all over.

Brandon - where are you going to put that monster when it's done?

I plan to put it on a display case once done. That won't happen until we get a new place, and that won't happen until we see where all this virus stuff is going. Till then, it's in the stash.

snap - nice shopping!

Picked this up off of Mercari relatively cheap considering what these go for.  I'm going to convert it to an S-64 fire tanker once Lone Star Models conversion is available.  Pretty nostalgic being a young modelers club kit.  Didn't know Aurora had a club.  I was in the Monogram club as a kid.

Going to be this:

Very nice; wouldn't mind seeing a Lancaster WIP. Finished it would shrink a 1/96 Cutty Sark, not random was just measuring space in my room for one.

Nice set of decals Stik

This also just arrived in the mail today. I always loved this car when I was young and dreamed of owning one.. My sisiter-in-law owned one and I just loved it.

Now, we do own a "Scirocco" of sorts. That's the name of our tortoise. Being as she is an African Socata Tortoise native to the fringes of the Sahara it seemed only appropriate that we name her after the winds that blow from the Meditteranian across the Sahara. And yes, she does move faster than you think. You don't take your eyes off of her when she's outside for a walk.

OMG!!! How did I miss the tortoise!!!

All the stuff people posted is cool but the tortoise rocks Joe!!! Heart
