The family just keeps on growing!
Welcome
Mdlchiw and
Nachjager!
Mdlchiw,
An air-tight container for decals would be ideal. You can get some of those self-sealing sanwich bags and place your decals inside. Your decals may have gotten wet or moisture accumulated in the box. Thats why they became hard to remove from the backing sheet. What happened was the adhesives in the sheet dissolved and dried up.
You may want to try letting your decals sit in the sun to remove some of the yellowish discoloration. It may not entirely remove the yellow tint, but it may be lessened. The sun will oxidize the dicoloration and will "bleach" the decals. But dont let it sit too long though. Otherwise, even the decal color pigments will be oxidized.
Marny,
Cool sig, man! When are you going to post your works here?
Lipton,
Looking forward to your Sabre this Sunday. Btw, something's wrong with your sig.
Meekai,
Unfortunately, I didnt finish anything for this year's BACup. My first project, an SF-260TP hit a snag, and was put to shelf for now. Thereafter, I got torn between building an F-8H and a Choctaw. I ended up building neither. Aarrgh!
Next year, I promise. Next year.
So come on, bring your Cat over. We wanna see. Right boys?
CBrain,
Sayang di yata matatapos S-70 mo. Was quite eager to see it. But what the heck, bring it over. We'll take some prog pics.
