Two airframes advance down the Horten assembly line here in Aus...
I ordered up the RLM 78, 79 and 80 for the tropical scheme last night, so that's in hand. I can re-use the mask set. Internal painting for the second airframe is now well along, as is the cockpit, just detail stuff to do and apply that hideous instrument decal.
Looking at plan drawings, that feature on building an unpainted 229, and digital art, the Revell kit is way light on panel lines. I'm thinking of scribing some extras... Unless the joints were between timber sheeting, and were puttied and smoothed out pretty much the way we do between parts, in which case smooth is accurate... What's the concensus on that stuff around die Horten Kraftwerk?
