 VanceCrozier:

 Manstein's revenge:

Regarding Vance's HO build...

"This is not the end, nor is it even the begining of the end---but it is the end of the begining..."

That quote is full of all sorts of, uhh, truthiness....

The Navigator: What? Over? Did you say it's "over"? Nothing is over until we decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell no!

And it ain't over now. 'Cause when the goin' gets tough...

The tough get goin'! Who's with me? Let's go!

What the Censored happened to the MOJOs I used to know? Where's the spirit? Where's the guts, huh? This could be the greatest night of our lives, but you're gonna let it be the worst. "Ooh, we're afraid to go with you , we might get in trouble." Well just kiss my a$$ from now on! Not me! I'm not gonna take this. , Get me some toothpicks, hand me that Chap Stik...
Maj. Mike: Navigator's right. Psychotic... but absolutely right. We gotta get this HO done. Now we could do it with conventional weapons, but that could take years and cost millions of lives. No, I think we have to go all out. I think that this situation absolutely requires a really futile and stupid gesture be done on somebody's part!
The Navigator: We're just the guys to do it.
Sprue-ce Goose: [stands up] Yeah, I agree. Let's go get 'em.
Carsanab: Let's do it.
The Navigator: [shouting] "Let's do it"!

That's worth a cat-head.  Too bad it didn't motivate Vance like it should have...

Considering the pulled hamstring last night (which is completely different than puled pork), I should be seeing an increase in bench time over the next week.

I'm sanding the seams on my 1/72nd HO229.  Guess I'd better provide photos as proof. Smile

Left hamstring, making the leg feel like it's running at about 1/2 power, kinda like I sat on an exacto knife & the blade is till in there..

NAVIGATE SOUTH!!!! Bang Head Right, I've gotta send that, you're done traveling now right.

Undersea lair - the pressure must make airbrushing a little more difficult!

Okay.  Proof that I'm working on the HO.

Wing root seams are a bit problematic.

Kit construction is not always pretty.

Will re-scribe selected seams and try using an ultra-sharp black Sharpie for some pre-shading.

Each build is a learning experience.  Thanks for looking. Bow Down

...

Careful with that Mike, I've heard of some folks having Sharpie ink separate when exposed to certain solvents, turning into a streaky purplish spot.

MajMike,

Nice to see that RoG is consistent. I had the exact same issues with fit as you are having.
