Aaron, you pit looks Quite Busy compared to the 1/72 scale. Here is the Pre Build Pic.

It will Never Again Look this Good

A couple of easy chairs for the Pilot and Gunner, those Coast Guard Guys Have it Good.

The IP and Steering column is still drying.

And the Aft

Well I was gonna mount it on one of Franks styro-stick stands. He was charging $20 for his MK II version but charged $200 for shipping so I painted my fingers.  Coated the IP with semi Tamiya White cover it with a coat of future and sprayed Semi Gloss black over it. When it drys I'll see what details I can pick out with a Hobby knife.  As far as the alien ship? The Green dried nicely. The details should paint up quickly and a little wash of Burnt Sienna should do nicely over the Green Zinc Chromate.

 I gotta get me some new mold maker stuff at Hobby lobby as the humidity here killed it. Window open fans blowing and 81 degrees F at this moment.

I have been informed that a working party has finally liberated many casks of ale from a just landed PBY!

The shed is fully stocked!

Sprue has been broken!  I love explaining why my fingernails are this color when I go to work!

Currently LT Daywalker is XO. But as builds take shape many will be designated as XO of their ship and thereby an XO  here!

Which decals are you trying to get?  For a -5 or a -5A?  I bought some Aeromasters from Squadron a while back for a -5, and only need the markings for one of the featured aircraft.

I am building the second from the top, you are wecome to any of the others.

Eh no matter, some Fitbin sniped me on the decals I had bid on that I wanted for my 1/48 PBY anyway. 

Progress on the 1/72 , got the inside ejector pin holes filled and the interior painted green. I do believe this is my First Academy Kit to be started on. The Plastic seems softer then some of the other kits I have built. 

I was excited over the Academy 1/72 PBY decals though, I have read that Academy Decals are horrible and thick, those black stripes will slice up and make good canopy frames.

I shall endeavor to perservere in the unending and shameless promotion the this GB. Thank you for the promotion, now does this come with any type increased monetary compensation? Or am I to take on additional responsiblity and duties for little or no compensation other than the satisfaction of a job well done? Thanks again for the masks.

The tokens are from a local supermarket......redeemable......and I always forget to bring them!

The BVD has seen proper to promote some active players in this GB.

Front page has been updated.

The Daywalker has been elevated to mine own personal rank of full lieutenant....(but I'm senior Mister, so watch it!).....and shall take an accustomed place as XO for this GB! (I've seen his resume).
