Sorry for the delay, haven't been on the internets here for a few days. Got page one updated again, the list is getting long and distinguished! Cool [8D]

Satch_ip - I don't have a problem with you using your build for a crossover with another GB, so long as you're meeting all the requirements here. I.E., not started until after December 1, done before the first of April. I want to make sure we see the whole build from start to finish in the specified time period. As long as you can do that, we're good to go. Thumbs Up [tup]

Dupes, sorry I didn't realize that I hadn't stated the manufacturer of my model. Its the Revell 1/48 Stuka.

Never did a winter white-wash before so count me in, dupes! I'll be building a 1/35 Cyber-Hobby "Orange Box" JS-II.

Guess I better go figure out which winter scheme I'll be doing and how to pull it off. (luckily, I stumbled upon some unique winter schemes.) PM inbound.Smile [:)]

Ahh,yes I believe that is the term used in the day.Up north here we call them snowplanes.Homebuilt frames with doped fabric and aluminum skins. Most sport Continental aircraft engines but also lycoming engines. Some have been clocked at an astounding 75-80 mph.All this fun and only a rudimentary brake. If I can get over to my friends house I will get some photos. Its a little rough around the edges(fences really raise heck with them)but still runs. Thanks for the info mg.mikael

Wing_Nut: This is actually my second GB.  Dupes and I did the 48 hour GB last weekend.  It was my first build that I completed start to finish...in 48 hours go figure.  I am excited to be able to take my time and apply what I have learned to hopefully create something awesome! Propeller [8-]

Yes, Boyd, Mr.Stickler-man. HOWEVER! Last time we did this, we did January 1st to May 1st (the same 4 month span). People who finished near the end - and live in more temperate climates than I - were taking pictures of their "winter" builds in their very grassy, bushy, and leafy backyards. Heh. Hoping to have this one done by the time the snow is melted. Wink [;)]
