Does it make that much difference?

Actually, yes it can.  There are several who are looking at ties right now.  Your 2 & 3 votes could have been tie-breakers.  Alternately, your 2 & 3 votes could have caused some ties.

Bottom line, read the rules and actually follow them! Big SmileWhistlingPropeller

Speaking of ties, there are 25 of us listed.  For most, 24 votes have been counted.  For a couple, 23 votes have been counted.  If you haven't voted yet, chop, chop!  Times a wasting!  You could help break a tie. Yes  Be a good Samaritan.

Finally it is decided! I have to build the 1/48 ACH-47A and add 3 packs of PE to it as well. This should keep me busy for a while. Tonight I'll be ordering a bucket full of olive drab and looking through all the plans and so on.

Yeah, I'd think the only real difference is that I diluted my own influence. Seems most of my votes were with the pack in any case so I can't see I would have upset anything.

I guess it depends on how you did or would have voted. If there is only one vote in it, then i guess it could, but its not like we are on about running the country is it. I'll enjoy what ever tops the list, they are all due to be built at some point anyway.

Bish

I am surprised the B-24's are making such a good showing. My build's deffinatly ain't panning out as i expected.

And for any one who hasn't voted, remember you need to vote for 3 kits, seems a few people have only voted for 1.

Guilty as charged...    Sad

And just before I voted I read Kenny's post where he states in no uncertain terms- vote for THREE

Sigh...

Done

Kinda surprised at some of the selections, totally not surprised at others.

You guys really really like the big kits :) The bigger the kit, the more likely to be selected. There are other specific subjects that seemed to get selected a lot too. 229's got lots of votes, p61s got a lot of votes, b24s and b25s also ranked high. the bigger the ship, the more likely it got selected!

I am glad I didnt put the Monogram 1/48 P61 in there, or you sick *******s would have made me build it :) hahaha!

Voted.

Don't be surprised if we have some ties at the end of the voting.  It's happened every year, and typically a quick tie-breaker vote will take place for each person with tied kits.

And vote for your stash!

VOTED!!!

Gee unlike a political election where you vote for one of two people - fifteen awesome kits- it's was really hard for me to make up my mind on many of these.

Thanks IL2!

My votes for this years instruments of torture have been cast. So far most people's stashes seem to have between 3 and 5 sets of votes cast for them.

Thats a nice story and not boring at all. I started in the hobby on 1/72nd aircraft, cutting my teeth on Airfix and have stuck with that scale as i find it alot easier for Dioramas. I later expanded a bit into 1/35th armour also.

Bish,

They are all 1/72 scale.

I did not try to do the photos that way, it just came out that way.  On the preview I got a slide show of the photos and that disappeared when I posted it.

I got into 1/72 scale when I ordered a bunch of Airfix kits (Bag and tag) from England when I was 12 (1962) and have stuck with it.  I used to read a magazine called Royal Air Force Flying Review magazine (long defunct) back then and they had articles on building models and advertisements from Airfix.  I had always been fascinated with things British so they were all British aircraft.  I won't bore you with the details.

I think I will do another post with proper sized pictures and titles today.

Ye, got it. Never seen that way of doing the photos. As for the ones on your voting page, there doesn't seem to be an edit feature. I messed mine up by putting two pics of the F-117 in and missing the SM-79, but i have just left it.  Nice list you have, am i right in thikning they are all 1/72nd scale.

Good Evening Bish,

Thanks for the feedback.

If you click the text block that says "View All" the link will take you to the photos.

In the voting system I finally figured out how to put in photos.......but they are small.  I could redo them but I'm not sure if that would be OK.  At least you can see them now.

Thanks for the link, I'll check it out.

John

Don't see any photos, just the list. Photos have to be posted on a host site, such as photo bucket, then linked to here. Don't think they are essential for your original post, but would be very useful once you start building.

Hopefully Kenny will be on before the day is out to check for anything last minute. But i think he has had a few problems since the change around here. He also has his own site, http://hobbyli.com/Forum/tabid/55/Default.aspx and alot of us have also posted there.
