That's great! I'm definitely in with my Hasegawa -CJ Block 50, with True Details seat (just arrived) and markings for the 35th at Misawa.

Cheers, Mike/TB379

I have the same kit just the Blk 40 one that comes with the Misawa markings in the stash.

Medicman:

Alright. after much thought I am thinking we are a go for the Viper GB II "Second Strike!" I will add it to the GB within the next few days. I have a feew build badge ideas and will let those involve probably chose from 2.

I will be doing a HobbyBoss F-16C with Florida 482nd FW of the 93rd FS "Makos." I have great Wolf pack decals for it and the colors are awesome!

BTW: Are you an active medic in Texas? I work as a FireMedic in Florida. I started in San Diego in 2001.

Look for the GB.

Sweet!! Looking forward to the GB.

I'll be doing a F-16C Blk 30 with the 149th FW ANG in 65th Anniversary markings. I'm using the Tamiya kit and Caracal decals.

Yeah I am an EMT-Intermediate just on the outskirts of Houston. Been in EMS for 19 yrs. Gonna go to Paramedic school soon, probably next year. That'll really put a cramp on my modeling.

Yeah same here. I have two that I have to finish by the end of the month for our show here. Then it's on to the Viper.

Maybe start it in May or June? I'd be willing to help you as moderator. We should start a new thread though so there's no confusion and we can get more interest.

Very nice Arctic Agressor scheme. Love it!!!!

Medicman: I am here!!!!!! Promise!!!! I am totally down for round 2! Any suggestions for time frame? I had a lot of takers for this one with only a few completed builds posted.I couldn't even get around to my F-16N Embarrassed

I have a whole "Pit of Vipers" in the stash. I am pretty sure I have the whole alphebet covered now! Including a Sufa and a Brakeet in there!

Open to suggestions for time. However I have 2 builds to finish and one in the wings. I would be open to a Co-moderator.

Yeah I think that's the thing. The one in here is technically not a AFB but I think it belongs partly to NASA and the Coast Gaurd. Not sure though.

The airshows up here in Niagara Falls are free as well.  But I went to one in Binghamton a few years back and there was a ticket charge.  Maybe because it was at an airport as opposed to an airbase?  Who knows.  Either way they are good times.

I signed up for this GB too.  If y'all gonna keep it going I will probably join you.

Free? WOW! I recall my Media Pass (covering four industry days and three public days) being equivalent to $300 worth of tickets, but did not get me into the grandstand. Industry chalets, static park and media photo points on the runway fence, yes, and the Media Centre where there was free food and drink, but that was about it...

Medicman71 -- fantastic choice! It's also great to see the planes as clearly as this, when I used to be a regular photographer at Avalon Airshow down here in Australia it was very frustrating because there was zero access, You had to be in the right place at the right time to get anything approaching a decent shot because there was a permanent security fence between the public and the planes -- certainly the fighters, though planes in the static park were less restricted. The F-16 I'm doing is in the markings of the 35th from Misawa, who were the flag-carriers for US participation at the Aussie event for a long time.

Cheers, M/TB379

Thanks. The San Antonio airshows never have anything roped off (unless it needs to be like the F-117 and such). Unlike that show, the airshows here in Houston are just the oppisite, everything is roped off. And the fact that you have to pay to get in where in San Antonio it's free.

Hey all,

Some really great Vipers in here!! Sorry I haven't even started mine. Life and work just gets in the way too much. Is it too late? If not I have a different Viper to do. I'm going to be doing a F-16C Blk 30 of the 149th FW TxANG in the 65th Anniversary markings. The kit is the Tamyia F-16C/N. Here's some pics of everything.

The Kit

The aftermarket stuff and decals

I'm probably six months too late, but I managed to lay down the 36375 on the cockpit of my -CJ, and put in an order for some ACES II seats today, so this beast is finally going to happen!

ColGray: That is a very nice "Arctic Aggressor" scheme. I can't wait to see the 100% complete product. Sorry I stepped away for a while. I wasn't seeing very much activity here and got busy with life and other GB. Nice to see some more work.

the decals are a slow and tedious process and ive divided it up into sections sofar ive gotten bothe sides of the aircraft done the top left wing the top and almost finished the top right wing then its just the bottom followed by pictures :) then future and a tad bit of sanding(wish me luck) more future then weathering ( any ideas for that?? i wanna try something new:)
