I hope your wrong Kenneth. Theirs must be better than Tamiya's, which is what, 50 years old? I just learned, if anyone cares besides me, that AFV just released a mid-production German 105. It's suppossed to have wood rims and Lord knows what else. Really has tickled my interest. I wanted the one with the baffle, so we shall see. Unforunately they didn't have pics.

Hey all !!!!!!!

That gun is the Tamiya British 6 Pounder.... It's a very simple easy kit..... I mean i'm new to armor and i built it in under 6 hours, excluding the guys!!!!! I'm gunna try and built a base for it this weekend....... that will be fun, i never did a base before!!!!

I ordered the British 25 pounder to go with the Gun Tractor, so i'mstill in this build!!!!

How is everyone else doing?????

Love it! The gun that slayed the Tiger. Nice job and I look forward to seeing it weathered and crewed.

most likely the old airfix 'Bren Carrier with 6pdr gun' kit in braille scale,
since it's the only towed gun i've got on the shelf...
just planning on adding a few little details to the Uni Carrier,
should b a fairly simple build...
(famous last words ?)

Lucky, lucky! When I first saw the box, my eyes lit up. It's one of the kits I've narrowed down to, but I might get it as a backup like you are. Big Smile [:D]

I think i'll go ahead and get started on my Gun Tractor and 25 pounder to Littlemoe. I f I start early I should actually finish it! I still haven't decided on color. It will have to be desert sand or something else other than OD if I can find another color option...Shy [8)]

well,

i am still having trouble finidng the correct Chinook, and the M198 is still out of stock, so if worst comes to worst, i might build instead a black hawk with a 105 under it instead, i know that both those kits exists Smile [:)]

Kenneth, remember the Pak 40 from AFV? Well on www.discountplasticmodels.com they had it on backorder for only $79.99! Must be the real deal. Guess I will get the German 105mm late.

I love it. Not only do you have a brilliant, difficult idea, when faced with difficulties, you just fall back on an equally difficult idea! Hats off to you; when the going gets tough, I go find something easy!

Still excited to see whatever you end up doing!

The color i chosen is dessert yellow and i will have some black lining all over it, I have started just a little on it, but that is becuase my Lizardqing2 that is was going on now, but then I realized it wasn't until April of when the group build is to start. , and now in March chris is going to the model show and I was thinking about going to bring my towed gun build, not sure what to do yet I'll keep informed.Confused [%-)]

All these talk about starting early is making my hands itchy. He-he-he. Actually I need something to keep my sanity intact right now that I am doing a ship. So please don't condemn me if I start already....

Dwight, When your wife asked for something with a mast and sails, you should have done a radio transmitter vehicle with a tarp 'leanto' attached to the side of it for crew comfortEvil [}:)]

Tigerman, what currency was that Pak 40. $80! The AFV club Pak 43/41 is only $40 AUD ($31USD).

Which fruil or mk tracks to use for marder 3?
Posted by spector822002 on Tuesday, February 24, 2004 6:52 AM
My experience with internet hobbies has been good , they got the stuff to me real quick , so i would have to recommend them . I do also believe that letting you know and follow your shipment is key to doing good business on the net ( which they also do BTW ) you know tracking # and the like , just to give you piece of mind .

Kenneth: You definetly made the right call on the precharge , I have found when I do that at a local store , it always seems to miraculously go on back order for well lets see FOREVER!!!! , so I will not do that anymore , nor would I recommend anyone else do it !

Hey all
This one sounds like a blast, so I think I'm in this. Probably won't manage to start on time, since this is coinciding with the M1 abrams build. But whatever, it'll be fun.
I was thinking of doing either an italeri flak 43 being towed by the revell demag 7 OR doing a tamiya 88mm gun flak being towed by the italeri opel maultier.
