Lovely looking build Casper, thats coming along nicely.

Scorpio, thats a great looking plane. Did that ever fly or was it just a project.

She looks great Casper! The office is amazing.

Some more work on the F-22A Raptor this weekend. Must say this is a great kit, well done to Academy. Everything fits together beautifully and when detailed looks the part.

Internal stuff is all fitted inside. Quite a lot of internal gear, intakes, front wheel well, rear wheel wells, missile bays, bomb bay and exhausts.

I'm pleased the way the kit IP decals conformed to the resin display and how clear they look.

Primers a problem too. The last 2 times ive sprayed it down, the primer has pulled away. Once it dries its like concrete, but it wont stay where i put it.

Thanks ninetalis. The only really hard parts about this will be getting the props to sit properly (never ad much luck with prop blades) and scratch building the intake on the spine.

Oh, like that, didn't really know that, then this has to be one of the easier (resin) kits out there if the canopy and such fits.
Still, that is one odd plane, not as much as Bish his Triebflugel but still...
Can't wait to see how this one will turn out REALLY!

HUZZAH!. apart from a few blue stains, not too bad. 

Well, either i had a hole in the bag, or simple green eats plastic bags. Opened the container this morning and its full of simple green and the plastic bags empty. Oh well. Ill just let it soak for a few days in the tub.

Count me in I managed to get Revells 48 scale F14A, which will be built box stock.

Yeah, picked up some diluted stuff and it wouldn't even touch the tamiya primer. So i got some undiluted. Hopefully that will eat the paint without touching the resin. Ill get there eventually.

Simple Green is a non-toxic, planet-friendly cleaning product. Many people use it as an airbrush cleaner or to remove paint.

What is simply green? I thaught that it was some kind of color/paint but judging from the comments,

ScorpioMikey - I don't know about the Simply Green (though I guess it should be fine). Maybe pour some into a Ziploc Bag and leave it overnight to see what happens. At worst, you'd be out a bag and a little Simple Green.

Glad to be able to call this done. I am really pleased with how this has turned out. The tower was a great chance to get to grips with soldering.

I have a question, does anyone know if simple green will dissolve plastic bags? I need to strip my botched paint job on my P100, but it takes soooo much to submerse it in a container, so i was going to put it in a plastic bag.

Nice cockpit Casper! Man, I really need one of those resin cockpits, also nice little scratchbuild part there! But be sure you fill that little hole before fitting that resin HUD on there, just in case...

Cockpit before detailing with seat and console/IP

I primed the bomb bays in black so the gloss white had a depth to help with the detail. Once painted up these should look very busy;

Removed the kits HUD and prepared a plastic shelf for the resin replacement.

decided to get some of these unfinished kits off my desk, so I got crackin' on my MiG

more putty, whooooo! But I got some work done on the wings; flaps and ailerons dropped, and the finished burner cans

wings, intake, and burner cans attached means MORE PUTTY!!!

the intakes were super plain and stopped at a wall, so I added a wheel to give some detail in there

dont know if you realize, but most people read words as a whole with their brain filling in the gaps. As long as the first and last letters are in the correct spots, it does not matter how the letters in the middle are organized. Your brain will still read it. Because we are used to reading "nine-tails" that is how our brain reads your username.
