Gamera:
Dang, I never got to do anything cool like that as a kid. Guess I can't complain - I did play with lawn darts and rode my bike without a goofy helmet...
Rich: The metallizer should be ok outside of masking over it. I've used post-it notes for masking with good effect since they're pretty low tack. You can also use a piece of paper slightly moistened stuck to the model using the surface tension of the water to hold it in place as ultra low tack masking too.
I've heard of people not sealing the metallizer afterward saying it dulls the shine. You should be ok if you don't handle the model too much.
Yes Gamms, with Lawn Darts, you got to do away with unwanted cousins even before the 'Dung Herd Games'...ahem.....man
"I didn't mean to stick my cousin with that Lawn Dart, your Honor...."
"I didn't mean to stick my neighbor with that Lawn Dart, your Honor...."
"I didn't mean to stick my classmate with that Lawn Dart, your Honor...."
"I didn't mean to stick my uncle with that Lawn Dart, your Honor...."
"I didn't mean to stick my older sister with that Lawn Dart, your Honor...."
"I didn't mean to stick all those cops with that Lawn Dart, your Honor...."...LOL....
Thousands of kids die while texting and driving, and the 'movies' get them freaked out about some 'Dung Herd Games' in the woods with no MRE's..........go figure.
Hey, when we really didn't like someone, we phoned them up and invited them to a game of Lawn Darts....LOL
Such a green lawn.....and still no Lawn Dart Games Movie........lol......ahem......
The police: "There's no way a dog the size of Zorro could make such huge green spots on your lawn!"
Me: "No, but seeing as he loves to dig, and he has to dispose of all of the cases you guys can't solve...Duhhhh....."
Yeah,,,Lawn Darts were great.........
Cliff, that surface tension idea is a real winner, is it an old stand by idea, did you submit that to FSM? You should, or patent it......
