Cool! Is this the one with two full kits? If so, I was looking at it the other day. If not, cool anyway!

Clemens, curious why you order from US? I'd have thought Europe would be Eduard heaven.

You got one too? Mine arrived toaday but I have to pick it up at the post office first which, of course, is closed tomorrow

I think this is the best royal class so far:

• 16 Decal options (most decals I've seen so far in any kit)
• Brassin wheels, gun pods, rocket launchers
• The usual full PE fret supplied with royal kits
• HGW fabric seatbelts
• a piece of a real G-14
• a frickin 109 beer glass!!!

I just hope all the goodies (the glass in particular) are still in one piece. This baby came all the way from the states after all...

So tell me, how do you like that beauty of a kit?

Eduard's kits are very well packaged and molded normally, but sometimes you end up with a flawed kit. I know Eduard's customer service is great so i could've just asked for a replacement sprue, but I didn't really want to bother because it wasn't a difficult fix after all. I have a total of 16 Eduard kits (10 are 190s) in my stash right now and every single one of them apart from that A-8/R2 is molded perfectly and amazingly detailed (especially that MiG-21), so I'm sure I just got extremely unlucky with my badly molded wing.

Plastic is not prejudice as it does yeild to heat and is also subject to packing deformity.

Don't forget, I was away from the hobby for a long time. Still learning what to expect.

I guess I would have held Eduard to a higher standard based on all I hear of them, and the excellent condition and packaging of my first Eduard kit. Silly me.

I know. And she is a Royal Class, all opened up. Not easy to forget, Joe!

Yeah, there are 9 of them on my bench (getting a bit crowded). I'm not that pleased with how the A-8/R2 looks so far, especially in the cockpit so the canopy will be closed. That one is the kit I used to find any flaws and tricky steps in the build process because it came out of the mold with a bit of damage (a hole in one of the wings, wings and fuselage warped) I want to build her too though, so I'm hanging in there and simply closing all hatches and the canopy.

BD, You have turned out a remarkable example of modeling in your 152. Very excellent work especially under your unfortunate circumstances. I for one have complete admiration for your perseverance in the face of misfortune. Not only did you get right back to your modeling you rose to the occasion with some miraculous workmanship. I truly wish you and your family the very best and that you all will bounce back in remarkable fashion. It has been my pleasure to make your acquaintance and to bear witness to your excellent skills.

I wanted to make this TA-152 look Moore like it may have in its early days of testing so I didn't go as heavy on the weathering as the last 190-d that was at wars end.

Schattanspartan.    I finally got my Tec issues fixed to only have my photobucket no want to post my pics also.  Hmmmm hopefully they will fix it.

BD, I completely agree with everything Joe mentioned! My hat's off to you! That 152 looks great! The camo scheme is really interesting and your execution leaves nothing to be desired! I especially like the weathering!

     I went thru my house burning a long time ago,,,, it took me years to make a model again... I bow to you sir!

Great finish! And yes the 190 and the 109 will getch ya! I have more Fockes and Messies in my stash then all other kits combined, and love building them more then any thing else, not to say that I wont build any other, but just cant wait for GBs featuring the 109-190s.

Man, hope your woes are lessening, and dont know what we could do, but if I for one can help somehow, feel free...

For a guy who's had a house that burned down and for that same guy to press forward to not only complete a build but to have the "moving forward " attitude instead of staying stuck in one's troubles attitude reflects greatly on you. Its my hope, and I think I'm speaking for the majority here, and our hope that good things are coming your way and that you get back to a normal state of life soon. Youre standing out as one of the greats here not only in your build but in your commitment to getting things done, whether it be model building or pressing onwards.

You bird looks great, man. Really like the scheme and your handling of same. The subtle weathering around the cowl area is just one thing that stands out to me. This is going to be a great addition to the wall of fame.

First off Jerry let me tell you that I'm really glad you joined the GB here. I'm sorry youre having trouble posting pics but am confident that you'll get everything straightened out in the future. WOW greg the paint on the one pic showing the cooling vents looks really nice cant wait to see it all.

as for my TA-152 build I put the airal cable and canopy on today and that got her done. I have the build pics sry I couldent post along the wayi sent my finish pics to mustang he should be throwing them up before long. on my last photos of todays shoot I broke the airial of the tail so I need to figure out that fix it was pulled tight so no room to pull and glue probably drill it out the canopy and do a new one.  BUMMER
