You smoothed that right out Mach, good job
Steve
Building a kit from your stash is like cutting a head off a Hydra, two more take it's place.

Nice! Well it looks like youre halfway through the flaps Aussie!
No bucks, no Buck Rogers
Looking good Aussie!
I was surprised to see that the flaps on that beast are single slotted!
Nice work there.
I am a Norfolk man and i glory in being so
On the bench: Airfix 1/72nd Harrier GR.3/Fujimi 1/72nd Ju 87D-3
This will be it for a while. I'll be away for a few days.
I got a coat of primer on it early today
And the 1st coat of black
Rob S. I concur..that resin kit is very cool. I managed to get some work on the 707 tonite. White/aluminum and some decal work (I needed to see some progress!). Hopefully the big decals will settle down overnight.

A.K.A. Ken Making Modeling Great Again
Heres the latest on the Bell 47 D
Mach,
She’s really coming along.
Ken,
That's really looking good. I've always liked that old bell.
Hey MC put me down for a 1/72 AWACS and 1/72 KC-135R, Wont be awhile before those are started though.
Orange enough??
Now the trick will be to mask the leading edges of the wings without the darn wingless snapping off again....stay tuned!
Theuns
B1,
I got you down my friend. Man you are a machine with the Boeing gear.
Theuns,
Orange can't be any easier than yellow or white, nice job . Now just keep those meat hooks off the winglets and you'll be done in no time.
Here is a quick update on the twin Eagles I'm working on. Havent had a whole lot of time at the bench lately but I have made some progress. Right now I'm working on getting the seams blended. Havent had too much issue with gaps on this one, mostly with small ridges that arent hard to take care of. The only area that has proved to have a slight gap was on top of the main wing structure as you can see in the pictures. Now that the fuselages have been assembled I will start working on painting and adding the minor bits. Enjoy.
On the Bench: Lots of unfinished projects!
Jelliott, Coming right along. You’re doing the Idaho ANG if I remember right, or am I wrong? I got to see them land at Gowen while their runway was being repaved, now they went back to Mt Home .
Theuns, That's interesting, I never thought of that. Did you spray it?
thinned it with lacure thiners and sprayed it on, dries very fast so need to keep the nozle wet.
I just completed the masking of all the slats and leading edges for paint tomorrow.
Great! I just love how orange that is! And great way to think outside the box with the paint.
I finished the chopper, I think. I'm not calling it done yet though. I'm doing a base for it, plus I have on order 2 wounded men for it. Yes, I know the pics are dark. I'll have better ones when its finished. I ended up deleting some pics then this post disappeared on me and I had to start all over again.
modelcrazyLooks really good Ken. When you get the wounded guys on the litters, you may need to put Hawkeye in there doing triage.
Thanks MC
LOL Yea I hear you. The wounded men come with a medic. but no cowboy hat lol
One thing, The bubble wouldn't match up exactly right with the fusilage. I guess thats what it would be called I wonder if it was me or the kit.
WOW these builds look great guys!!
Modelcrazy, if I may sir, I would like to join? I have JUST started Italeri 1/72 Strike Eagle in Desert Storm build. Only have the bang seats together lol.
Thanks Steve, they are going to be examples of the Mountain Home birds, 389th FS Thunderbolts and 391st FS Bold Tigers. Yes, I too enjoyed seeing them over the valley the past month or so. I had a friend out at Gowen take a picture from the tower of all 54 of them on the ramp...IMPRESSIVE sight!
Allan, they are both 1/48 Monogram birds.
