FSM New Years Resolution — Build More Models GB

Well, It's 1-1-2017 1:09 am here.

Question, I'ver been having some problems with mold release (I think) Should I leave the model parts soak ? if so for how long?  Over night?  I don't know how to scrub the little tiny parts.

From what i can see, looks like it needs a bit of cleaning up, like the U-Boat, seems to be some flash. But it looks like it will go together pretty quickly, but we will see.

Happy new year Bish. I built kit years ago after ep 6. I don't recall much about it though. 

So, its just gone midnight here is old bligty. the Mrs went to bed early as she is working all day and has to sleep out tomorrow night, and its meant to be raining all day.

So, i ask myself. I have the house to myself, the weather is lousy and there nothing to do around the house, so how will i spend the day.

I know, i can spend it at the bench building an Imperial Shuttle.

I know, what hardships we must face

I am going to work on the pit tonight, theres not a lot to that. Then tomorrow i can prime then paint it and in the meantime work on the rest of the kit.

And a happy 2017 to you all.

Morning all, and Happy New year's Eve... Just saw this, great idea!  I'd like to enter with a FUJIMI 1\48 FW 190D-9. Pretty much OOB, haven't decided on staffel yet or other markings. Question, are we doing wip, or just the end results?  Thanks and a happy and prosporus NewYear to all...

I plan on building a Revell easy kit Darth Vader TIE advance for the Star Wars group build, but I also want to build an MPC Return of the Jedi A-Wing fighter. I will build that one for this group build. I built one long ago in a galaxy far away in 1983, the summer between my freshman and sophomore year in college.

It has been some time since I took part in a group build, but I am up for this one.  I have a Fort Royal Review 120mm German WWI Stormtrooper that needs to be built, and maybe this will motivate me to finish it by the end of January.

Okay, okay, I will throw my model into the ring. I have Revell ' s First Order TIE fighter from The Force Awakens. It's a snap tite max kit that I got on clearance. 

I'll give it a shot.  Put me down for the AMK 1/48 Kfir.  Probably the C2 version OOB unless I add some extra bombs and stuff.

Alright, I'm in. Put me down for a 1/48 Curtiss Hawk 75 in French service. It's the old Hobbycraft kit. Apparently I'm on a CUrtiss kick lately.

Here it is Aaron. Its a 1/700 Hornet. I'll probably do a water base and display it with the B-25's.

I't going to be a trick to get her done by the end of Jan.

 

I'll be pulling up a chair for this one. I take it this will be full hull without your magic water effects.

Since all the craziness of the past 6 months (not all bad mind you) has eased, i can get back on the bench. been staring at this for a while so trumpeter 1/35 KZKT-537L Tractor.i undertsand i will have to fake an engine or at least the back end of an engine but that should not be an issue.

MC 1/700 scale B-25's are going to be interesting to see. I couldn't do them anymore LOL

I'm currently working on a New auto carrier with a load of Brand new 1965 Chevrolet's. So. I'll throw in for this for my very first car. Monogram's 1:25 scale 1965 Chevy Impala Hard top Nothing Fancy 283 engine Bench seat single exhaust shifter on the colum Mine didn't look this nice though LOL

Before I heard about this Group build, I finshed the 283 Engine. If thats a problem I have the 65 Chevelle I could do. So, take your pick. I won't /can't do both. LOL

One will be Revell's 1/24 '56 Chevy Bel Air as a gift to my 6 year old cousin. He will get it for christmas and I will help him build it and I might have another kit too.

I'm away a lot in January so I'm deliberately keeping it small and achievable.

Yes, I tried several times as well as removing the cookis. This time it worked after trying one more time out of frustration.

Now I can start a new thread to report a problem...oh wait...it's fixed.

I hate to ask, but, have you logged out then back in to the forum? This was ahppening to me as well until I read a post from GMorrison. Since the logout and in, I've been good.

OK, no go with that. still the same thing. It is only on the forums this happens. The rest of the site is just fine. When I try the Online Reader Gallery, it goes to the forum and the same thing happens.
