I believe I'm going to go with the Revell-Germany 1/48 Dornier Do-335

Great work guys!  Both kits are coming along quite well!

Well Rooster your partial office is looking great so far and I'm glad I'm working with 1/32 scale but some of the pe here is still small but not smaller than yours.

I started on my Salamander. I got this one on sale and is a nice kit as it is but adding a few things here and there makes it a bit more interesting. I got a bunch of CMK resin for it very cheap.

First the obligatory shot of the box.

The resin set adds more detail and did I say I got it cheap?

Using a grinding wheel in my Dremel set at low speed I removed the molded details to make room for the resin parts.

Now the resin part slides in place.

Did the same thing to the opposite side and super glued the parts together with Gorilla  Super Glue Gel......great stuff!

I bent my own wires for the seat grab handles and Gorillaled them in place. Used some PPP to fill some gaps as the resin parts are not fitting well even tough they are designed for this particular kit. That's it for now...

I think most often the parachute doubled as a seat cushion, but it might be good idea to double check the particular aircraft, or if someone else knows?

Ye, i think in many cases the parachute doubled as a cushion. It would not make sense to have a chusion under the chute and have the chute on your back would be very awkward.

I was debating whether or not to sign up for this one since I already signed up for the Coral Sea GB, but they both run for a year. So, it shouldn't be a problem to knock out both even with 3 WIPs going currently. I have no idea what I'll be building, but I definitely want in.

I can't remember seeing many seat cushions in the A variants that I've seen online but I wouldn't rule it out either. I've mostly seen the cushions in the D and later variants. That PE foot pedal is incredible!!!!!

Here is the PE I was working on yesterday morning. Not much but it's a start Hoping to get paint on the cockpit this weekend!

And both of them in the pit...where I hopefully won't knock them off too many times

I may or may not try to make a seat cushion out of epoxy putty. Was it a pretty standard thing to have in these pits? I've seen pics with and without it.

Those Aires resin pits are nice. But i have lost count of the small levers i have lost. Glad i have spare.

Now that's a dang good lookin' kit and I remember that one! That's also awesome about that fingernail polish dryer!! A little gloss coat over that cal sheet and you're all set!

Well, here is my project for this GB.  The Dragon 1/48 Ho 229B Nachtjager. 

This bird technically never existed but I think it would have been a natural evolution to the original Ho 229.  The kit was manufactured is 1993 but features some really crisp and well defined moldings, panel lines, etc…  However, due to the age of this kit, the decals have “yellowed” a bit.

But, its nothing my "U Spicy" ultraviolet fingernail polish dryer cant handle! 

Man, I’m looking forward to seeing your progress on that 234!  Just a heads-up, those Montex Masks can be a bit tricky once applied because they tend to lift after a day or so.    Some folks don’t have this problem but I’ve experienced it on the few I’ve tried.  I’ve found that if you lightly sand the thick black backing material, they tend to stick and stay longer.
