Beav:  even life preservers!  Nice!

Toshi:  decals for the bomb stripes!  I wish Airfix would think of that.  Looking good.

castel:  nmf looks great; nice work

scott:  from what little experience I've had with Roden, engine fit seems to be an issue with more than one of their offerings; looks like you're coping well

Yes, I had no idea that there were any decals in the first place.  Thank you Tamiya!

Looks like your having lots of fun there Scott. I hate when i have to remove detail i have spent ages adding to get somthing to fit.

having to scribble your own instructions onto the instructions is not a good sign.

Can't argue with that!!!!! I make my own notes sometimes but never that many!

Got some work done this weekend on the SE5.  Added the cockpit and finished up the fueslage. Still working at getting the engine to fit.  I had to remove most of the details.

I love how well the instructions show how to attach the engine.  Nothing like the 3 monkey game of football I am playing to assemble this kit.

Bish, Got the dmmd ship out of the way, so now it's back modeling. Starting a 1/48 Tamiya Beaufighter. For reasons of my own, I'd like to do dress it in Oz colors suitable for action in New Guinea with 5th AF where the plane earned its supper. However, if you'd rather have a RAF RAF Beaufighter, I'd be glad to oblige. Let me know. Eric

Sorry Eric, its going to have to be RAF or under RAF command. But would love to have it.

Das, your doing a really nice job on that. My first major scratchbulding was the rear compartments oin an he 111Z, so i know how tricky it is. I had plenty of pics to go off.

Stunning effort going into this.

A model boat is much cheaper than a real one and won't sink with you in it.

Nice job Castel Yes. They may be humble but they have outlived their generation and the lot of them are still going strong.
