Awesome. Yeah, I love Bandai's SW kits. Their engineering is crazy good, so you can focus on paint, detailing, and finishes and not on just getting the thing together without trauma.

Gamera, I'm gonna have to sign up for Disney+ on Day 1 lol. Mandalorian alone is worth the price. Looks like it could be really good.

Hope to have the Bandai SD soon but.....I think Hurricane Dorian might have other plans (Gundam USA store is in Daytona Beach, FL).

Porkbits

Ted, assuming that's the Bandai kit?

It is the Bandai kit.

As others have commented, these kits are pretty cool. The paint probably isn't necessary but I'm starting to develop quite the paint collecting habit.  New paint is just as fun as a new kit.

I will be buying more of these.

PB: Oh wow! The SD is right there in my top 5 favorite 'bad guy' ships of all time. A little pricey but still that's a fine looking model!

Ted: Ohhhhhhhh, cool!!!!

Watched the trailer and it does look good! Waiting here to see what people think of it though, don't want to plop down a bunch of money on the streaming service till then.

As am I! Ted, assuming that's the Bandai kit?

Bish, the Mandalorian is a series that will be on Disney+ streaming service this fall (along with an Obi Wan series with Ewan McG). Can't wait. Not sure if it will available in the UK.....assuming so?

Cheers for the links PB, will check those out. I thought that movie had been postponed because of overkill, i guess Disney are not learning the lesson.

Slow going but it's progress anyway.

Hopefully I finish by the deadline. Surprise

Don't you just hate it when kits do that. Will add this nasty kit to the list for you.

I also thought I felt my neck constricting and a really deep voice saying something about buy or die!

Those is no resisting that.

That looks really nice PB, great looking ship.

Thanks, Bish! Not bad for a gaming piece.

Speederbike is finished, but waiting on some miniature landscaping bits so I can dress up the base a bit. Yes

Bish,

I made the mistake of stopping by Hobby Lobby and this Ban Dai kit attacked me,  so can you add this 1/144 scale set to my list,   and I think the other one on my list is 1/144 as well.

Thanks

John

Took maybe 20 minutes to assemble them, painting should be easy too.

Lol, I did think about saying something but figured just a simple 'hello' would be more polite!

The SSD looks amazing! That's a pile of detail they worked in there!!!

Lol, that's awesome! Propeller Can't say that I've ever run into a SW actor in a bathroom. Did you say something like "Sorry you got force choked to death?" Big Smile

Got initial coat on Armada SSD. Starting to look like a proper SSD. So much better without all of the trench-like panel lines to distract from the great greeblie detail they included:

Hehe, always reminds me of how I bumped into Michael Sheard aka Admiral Ozzel in the public rest room/water closet at a local convention. I was relieving myself and a guy walked up to the stall next to me and I looked up and it was Admiral Ozzel!

Thanks! Aha, I hope it'll be a quality paint job. Will see. :-) The tricky part will be picking the right shade of gray.

I'm not sure if it's in-scale with other pieces within the Armada game itself, but I think so.

I finished filling all the panel lines, now just need to prep for painting and visit my LHS for some paint:

Oh cool! I've seen some of the pre-built wargaming pieces like this and thought they looked really good. Hadn't seen the 'Super' class Star Destroyer till now though!

Is it in scale with the 'Imperial' class SDs? In any case she's going to look awesome with your quality paint job and detail.

I think it's about two feet long. Propeller It's actually the SW Armada gaming piece lol. HUGE.

And as of last night, it'll be another project. Indifferent The hull has really deep panel lines that I think detract from the look of the ship, so I'm filling them in and will repaint the whole thing.

Lol. That would be different.

After exactly a year of waiting, finally got this guy today. No assembly or painting required, luckily:

OK, NOW my SW collection is almost done, I swear. Ahem. Cough.

OH WOW!!!

What size is she? Looks about almost a yard/metre long!
