Wow, looks great so far.
I love all that detail you added (wiring and stuff).

Nice to see some one continues working on this GB.

Never fear my fellow modelers, OPEN END can easily be translated into "the rest of forever!!!"

I think that some of my motivation to eventually complete this bird is the fact that I see Hawks every day!!  Although no longer the Medevac A models.

Have a great 2007!!

Matt

A great 2007 to all of you, too.

Maybe with a little more motivation and/or time ...

Well, the last time I saw a real hawk (and the first time, since I've seen this bird only once in real) it was a VIP-version for transport of generals and other useless payload Evil [}:)], so the inside looked more like a limo than a chopper.

Anyway, still waiting for my lady to crash her R/C Carboon to canibalize that and make my hawk a flying model.

Hi guys,

Just got back from Afghanistan and hope to reclaim my hobby space back from the wife, so I can restart my UH-60.

Has anyone ever tried to get parts from Academy?  I was thinking of trying this but it might be easier to just scratch build them myself.

Oh yes, I did... about 3 years ago my wife bought their F-15, but when home we discovered the canopy was missing, immediately ordered that sprue of course.... still checking our mailbox dayly...

Very nice work on your "60" mate, I wish I could get myself (and some other people from this GB) to start working on her again...
