Tom,
I have sig pix turned off; explains why I don't know what a GB Badge is. Glad to hear that the Tamiya is "a dream". Looking at all the great work y'all are doing, I'm gonna need all the help I can get!
Matt,
As far as MY haircut in the old days is concerned, well....there's a REASON I chose that quote!

lookin good joe! nice paint job, I haven't done a NMF in unpteen yrs but know I am gonna be against one soon... (planning on building a B-36 peacemaker)
I feel for ya on that canopy mask... especially since it's 1/72... I spent like 2 hours masking a Ju88 canopy one night, even considered at one point shooting paint over the bare canopy and tell people it was a simulator, that it never really took off they sat inside and trained on instrument flying...

tweety, gringe, tho9900 thanks. and nice catch on the game leg. would you believe that one gear leg was shorter than the other. didnt catch it until i set it down to paint. figure now i can just blame it on the "old" guns build. ya know a personal touch. nah that wont fly. i am just too lazy to break the gear off and fix it.
tweety and tho9900 the canopy was a royal pain. had to glue it down twice. broke it loose the first time when i tried to mask it. tho9900 as far as the b-36 man that was a long time ago. build one in the late '80s. horribly as i remember it.
now gringe not going to go into the haircut thing. in my parents house it was always "off the ears, off the collar, and off the colarbone." i still sport that type of haircut. cant stand to have the hair over my ears.

joe, i gotta agree with ya on the hair thing, i hate it when its gets down to my ears, even worse when it grows over my eyes. my hair grows fast. as for the wheel thing, if you dont want to take the trouble to fix it, just sand down the bottom and say it got a flat. BTW, i like the cockpit. my dad's got several P-36's, as Curtiss built most of them here in Buffalo I believe. didnt get a chance to read the whole thing, is that a resin, sctrach, or kit cockpit in that P36?
harrison, I didnt know that I could take off in the first place. hehehe........
reggie, YOU GOT IT MAN!! long'as i gots dem models, matty's a happy camper

Yeah I did the B-36 back in the 80's... loved it!!! and love the sheer size of the model... can't wait to do it again... but I was a little more into it back then.,.. I could do things with my Badger external mix that I still havent been able to pick back up on my Crescendo...
As far as the gimp model I think it fitting you model a cane for it from sprue... old guns remember? a nice wooden walking stick type would be nice..

Well gang I realize I have been quite quiet on this one but I have been working. As soon as I get the pics uploaded to my computer I will post them. I have been building the Pak 40 75MM anti Tank gun. It is assembled and painted. I haven't weathered it yet but that is next. then after that is done I am going to put it into a simple Dio. I figure that should impress those youngsters huh!!!!
