Hmmm... a secret fringe group build... we research something to death till we find the oddest aircraft or vehicle that happened to be nearby, not tell anyone what it is and refuse to take pics and show anyone because "it's a secret".... of course when we get pressured into agreeing to take pics we claim low batteries on the camera.

Wow.. I'd never have to build anything.. I'd just give updates an no one would be the wiser! Ok I'm in!!!

Big Smile [:D] can't tell ya... then it wouldn' be a secret!

Actually it's not a secret.. I am building that Bf110 C I started way back in last BOB build as a nightfighter for the Nightfighter GB... found a WAY cool pic of an all over black one with grey and yellow markings the other day and have to order me some decals for it now! Wink [;)]

just had to try to get it out of you that way... like that "you show me yours, I'll show you mine" type thing that Kremps always pulls on us...

Rick Great job on the 129!!Approve [^]Big Smile [:D]
I like the green on sand look, might have to do another like that, and then one in winter 'slapped on with a crusty mop' camo, just to complete the set!Wink [;)]

Thanks Sean. The temporary winter camo should make an interesting build.

Well the 109 and the Kubel are now complete, so I'll set up my little blue backdrop studio this weekend and take some final pics. Unfortunately the figures never made it, they'll have to wait for a burst of inspiration some other time.

Also, as we are now closing in on the end of this build I want to say a big thanks to Jules for running this baby so smoothly Thumbs Up [tup]Thumbs Up [tup]Thumbs Up [tup]. It's been a heck of a lot of fun with some great models produced on the way, I'll certainly be looking forward to the next NAGB.

Cheers

Well Tom i am really tempted to just spit it out but with only a few days to go i won't, but i will say i had the paint scheme for my upcoming HE 219 build in mind when i decided to start the kit, kind of a practice build type of thingThumbs Up [tup]

Thanks Darren, it has been a lot of fun this GB hasn't it.......BTW talking about next one's I'm thinking of doing a Lysander for the next BoB, do you know if it's available in 1/48Question [?] I can only recall the old 1/72 Matchbox kit...........

Gavia (Eduard) released a very nice kit of the Lysander in 1/48 a couple of years ago. It was a limited run, but should be findable. There was also a much older 1/48 kit from Italeri, but the Gavia is a lot better.

Tom, now you know there is no way that i would waste a perfectly good bowl of "Aunty Biddles Borsch"Thumbs Up [tup]

And yeah i know what the date is but thats cool cause i'm going on the Forum time for this build because it effectivly gives me an extra day which is a godsend because i've only just finised decaling, i reckon i still have about 3 hours left on it but all should be wellThumbs Up [tup]

Well fellas here we are on Mon the 31st Oct so her are (at last) the official shots of my two builds for this GB.
Oh yeah and sorry for the backdrop, but one of my sheets of blue cardboard went west and I replaced it with one of a slightly different shade.

The kits themselves are great (both Tamiya) and caused no problemes at all, except for the decals which were like laying sheets of vinyl. The only AM item is an Ultracast resin seat with harness.

Darren - great builds!!! very realistically done!

Jules - I suppose I should say thank you also but I am still mad at you for stealing the last brownie surprise the other night after dinner... but it has been a fun build all the same and I am looking forward to the next one! Maybe I can find another "Black K" type build and do some more nose art!

And as this Gb officialy comes to an end i'd like to thank all of you for your participationThumbs Up [tup]And i'm happy to annonce that all the usual suspects came through and finished their builds, i'll be seeing all you nutcases in the upcoming builds....
Once again thanks all for making this a sweet GBThumbs Up [tup]Thumbs Up [tup]Thumbs Up [tup]

OH BTW sorry fellas but i didn't finish my 2nd build in timeSad [:(]Disapprove [V]What i thought was going to take 3 hours actually turned out to be about 5 hours worth of work and at the moment i'm up to the first coat of flat clear which will be followed by some pastel weathering and then it's final coat of flat, rigging and then finished....I will finish it within the next few hours but i will only be able to post a pic or 2 using my mobile/cell phone camera which is not the best quuality but on the bright side i'm getting myself a new digi cam next week so look out for some decent pics in the A/C forumThumbs Up [tup]

Bit of a bummer on not seeing the 'secret build' JulesSad [:(]
But we all know that a 'couple' of hours is modeler code for 'I have buckleys of finishing this in time'

Thanks for running this one for us Jules, you did a great job and ran a GB of a fantastic subject.
Kudos

Will see you all in the BoG GBBig Smile [:D]
