Sounds like this GB is going to take off. I'll add in my Hasegawa 1/48 Nakajima Ki-84 Hayate - skeleton version. This will be a cutaway model with engine and ribbing.

Montana, to be honest with you I'm not sure if I'd allow that. It's borderline. The zim is supposed to be there on all of them, and the turned barrel doesn't add much detail, so that leaves the friuls... If you get PE or something for it that would put it leaps and bounds ahead though. Smile [:)] If not, I suppsoe it technically counts as superdetailked so you'll be in.

Great! I'll put the BMP-3 on hold until December, which is what the start date is looking like. To specify, I'll be adding Eduard photoetched sheets (interior and exterior) and Model Point barrels. In addition, the interior will require lots of scratchbuilding to be accurate.
Glad this group build is starting to take off.Party [party]

If it's alright with master tanky, I think I'll enter my 1/48 Pro-modeller Me 410 into this build. I'm also entering it in the battle for Germany GB, so I don't know if I'm allowed to enter it in this one too. It will definitely count as a superdetail build. I'm going to add the Aires Resin and PE cockpit set, CMK resin engine and wheel wells set and a eduard PE set for the exterior (if I can get my hands on it). I might also add a vac-formed canopy and do as much scratch building as I can. Both Gb's start at the same time, so I don't think it should be a problem. Can't wait to start.

Master Tanky, eh? I like that. No probs pingy. Like i said in the other thread sharing is no problem for me here. (Normally it is but when one has to put in the effort to superdetail it you can enter it in as many GBs as you want as far as I care. Big Smile [:D]) Posting from school here, how cool is that?!

Well, if that's the case tanky, I'd like to throw in with a 1/72 scale Hasagawa Sd.Kfz 251/1 Ausf. D. I've got the Extra Tech engine compartment set, Part detail PE kit, HQ72 accessory set and Preiser Panzergrenadier figures to man it. I'm also using it as my build in the WWII German armour GB AND Tiny dio GB, so this would make three if you'll have me.

Cheers!

since it's for next year, I have a Dragon T34/85 with verlinden full interior parts + PE update parts, lionroar PE with fenders, eduard barrel (one of my only planned super-detail projects that actually has everything bought) , sitting on my shelf awaiting my lousy paint job to probably destroy it.

Do I join another...yes, no, yes, no, yes...hope I don't regret overcommiting, but this is too good to pass up.

I will be doing a Tamiya corsair with various parts from Aires and Verlinden update sets, True Detail wheels, waldron placards, maybe squadron canopy, and various scratch building, etc.

Tankmaster,

So far I have an idea to use Waldron seat belt buckles with lead foil for the straps. Then there is Waldron footpedals with lead foil foot restraints. The aircraft guns will drilled out resin core solder. There will be aircraft and jet engine piping and wiring. Looking at the engine I see some of the piping is incorrect so I will cut it away and repipe it correctly. Then we will see if there is anything else that comes to mind.

I'd definitely like to join in on this too. Right now I'm thinking of a Mirage Hobbies 1/35 German Captured C7P Artillery Tractor with several Part Photo-etch sets, Friul Tracks, and possibly an Armo resin engine / interior

Tankmaster,

Count me in as a definite with a 1/32nd Hasegawa Bf-109G-14 with Eduard PE set, Verlinden Detail set and an Engines and Things DB605 Engine, plus a bit of scratchbuilding for other details.

Hey Tank. May as well count me in since I can combine it with the Planes Of The Red Star GB. Mine will be a 1/32 Trumpeter MiG-21 MF in BMF with Eduard Interior, Exterior and Engine detail sets. I'll also open up a couple of panels to show some boxes or something.

I might change my build to a spitfire (tamiya 1/72 with Aires detail set (engine gunbays cockpit) and eduard PE set (various details but mostly dropped flaps) and scratchbuilt details as well (just a simple radio compartment) But then again I just picked up a CMD resin turret and modelkasten tracks for my T-34...

Count me in on this one too.

1/32 Hasegawa Boeing F4B-4, will probably do a lot of scratchbuild detail on this. aftermarket items seem to be a bit scarce.

On that last note does anyone know were I can get a 1/32 aftermarket for the 9 cylinder WASP R-1340 engine.

Cheers,
Thom

They look pretty cool! I might be switching my build to a tamiya 1/72 spoitfire with aires detail set and eduard detail set. It'll be a challenging project.
