Hey Guys

I don't know what to build for this. I need your guys help. I want to do some armor with Fruils and something with resin. Just a little bit of resin b/c this'll be my first time using it. Any suggestions?

Hmmmm.... I like T-34s. Especially T-34/76 model 1940 and 1941. Friulmodel makes very nice track sets for those, as does Modelkasten.

Trakz makes a BEAUTIFUL resin interior for the Dragon kit, but this might not meet your requirements since it has dozens of pieces and is by far the most complicated resin set I've ever seen.

I have a DML T-34/76 with a CMD resin turret conversion, Modelaksten tracks, Aber PE, and a Trakz resin interior, but that is a project for another time. A really really long other time...

there's really not much resin available for armor except interiors and conversions, so you might want to try some PE and Friuls instead.

Damn you, tanky....... you destroyed the OOB detail on my revell spitfire!!!!!! GGGRRRGERGRGRGRGGR......... Anyway, I wish to enter with this:

It's the Warsaw Model Center (www.wcm.com.pl) version of the Mirage Hobby 1/48 scale PZL P.23B Karas Light recoinassance bomber, with extra resin and PE included in the box. I'll also try my hand a a GB patch.

Haven't checked in for awhile. Sorry...

I have a little progress on my thunderbolt. I am pretty much done with detailing my wheel wells. Sorry the pictures aren't very good, but I was too lazy to set up the whole lighting setup.

Here are the pieces. I added wire, some with insulation still on and some with it stripped. It definately is not all that is in a true wheel well, but it serves as a decent (I hope) representation.

A closer shot of one of the wells.

Now I need to be completely honest here for my conscience. I did look at and try to use pictures of real wheel wells, but when it came down to it, I used a nice build-up article from Tony Bell to really help me decide what to do.

I haven't checked in here in a long while, but am glad to see that we are still all plugging along at the speed of super - slow. I havent even done more than look at the bok holding my 1/48 mustang and all the goodies since I moved in. Been way too busy at work and still getting the house set up to get back to it. But I figure that I will finish since I do have untill the end of forever!!! But I dont intend to be the last guy finishing on this gb!!!!
