Dave I'm definitely in with either a Coastal Command Beaufighter Mk.X from Tamiya or US Navy TBF-1C Avenger from AM.

Chris I know Academy makes some excellent ones in 1/72. Not sure what's available in 1/48.

Yah Jules... thought you'd like that one given your build and all. As for Kremps, she just knows how much time you're going to spend on this build so I can see why she's a little jealous and trying to keep you out of it. Wink [;)]

As 2006 is rapidly filling up with pre-planned GB's and given the level of interest in this build I decided I better get this thread going sooner rather than later. So without further ado...

The rules (aussie rules: anything goesWink [;)]):

Begin February 1st 2006 and End August 1st 2006

1) The Battle of the Atlantic spanned virtually the entire conflict so any Aircraft, Ship or Submarine that was involved in the Atlantic during WWII is included. This includes all coastal ships (such as MTB's) and landbased aircraft that can be shown to have had some roll in the conflict (beaufighters and He 111's etc.)

2) All scales, after market, scratch built etc. is allowed. Go for it!!!Tongue [:P]

3) Have fun!!! (like I need to say that) Big Smile [:D]

Badges: Please download and link to your own site (Hopefully they will still be useful after the change over)
