Hey guys. If we need help don't forget to post some here. It may only be a few of us, but we know what the othes are looking for. This is what the GB is about.

Scott: posting pics is simple. go here and there are step by step on how it done. And I need to do it too. I haven't set up an account at photobucket yet either. There, something eles we can do together!! I know how as I have been reading every thread on how to do it since I started here.

According to the UPS tracking site, my VF-84 F-14 should be delivered today. I'm in the middle of another model, then I'm going to paint up some flight deck crew figures, and start the Tomcat in September.

Some way off starting here, as I have just started a R90 Le Mans kit, with a 1:43 MP4/4 at about 80% done and a Studio 27 Renault R25 still progressing slowly. First have to finish off the Mp4/4, will then start here, even though I am itching for some more 1:43 stuff. Progress on both F1 kits have been slow, as it was my intro to both 1:43 and multimedia F1 kits.

At least I've made up my mind - it will be the 1:48 Hasegawa VF103 F-14B, but very straight OTB. My first plane in aaages! Talk about "How can I screw this up"...?! Wink [;)]

I'm building the hasagawa kit also seebee. If I run into particular problems I will let you know. I do know the flaps and slats are a fit nightmare, same with the intakes. If I find an easy fix, I'll post it here for you.

Go ahead and put me down for a Hasegawa 1/48 F-14B with VF-103 60th anniversary markings.I still have alot on my plate to tend to though..I am getting close to wrapping up the cockpit on my 1/32 'Mudhen',so my building should rapidly progress after that.Anyway.....have we decided on a badge yet? They both look pretty cool.Good work to those that did them.Looking forward to this build...

Ok it's a tough one, but................ I have to say knights. Only because it shows the whole skull an bones. that's it. Yours is a cool one tho mini. I do like it.

Maybe later next week I will finish the details on the pit and post a few pics. It cooled off from tripple digits today to mid 90's. Yea, a bit of difference. Gotta put an a/c unit in the hobby room! Some how I think that may lead to a divorce.

Welcom to the "pirates" den.Pirate [oX)] Page two has logo's to vote on. Please do so. 5 hornets, wow! you working for McD/Doug's or what? That's ambition for sure. Not too sure about the others, seems to be a bit vacant lately. I'm always around though.

Drew,

Thanks for the excellent directions.  Now that the Tour is over (maybe Censored [censored]), I will have some time in the day for modelling when I get off of my bike in the evenings.  The directions seem straight forward enough, so perhaps this next week I will find the time to work on setting up an account.  Again, thanks for the information, and I will look forward to building with you online.

I apologize for not getting on the computer in a while, but I will also put my vote on Knight's rendition, although they are both fantastic works of art.

As it turns out, something has come up at home and I will be unable to participate in the beta.  Feel free to use the badge I came up with, however, and I'll check in from time to time.

Too bad John. I hope all is well and you can return later. Thanks for the great design and letting us use it.Thumbs Up [tup]

Scott, tis no problem. I share what others have done the hard work on. Wink [;)] It really doesn't take long. I was up in under ten minutes. Posted pics here in fifteen. Just have the one's you want ready to download or know where they are (my overpriced soap box looses too much of my stuff as it is). I have two explorer windows open when I post pics. One in FSM and one on my photobucket account. Just makes the copy and paste easier. I like the fact that you use the appropriate smiley in your sig. Jolly roger all the way eh!Big Smile [:D]

Thanks for reducing my build count mini. Psst... you can use the edit button to save time and just edit your posts next time, even the first one. Saves a bit of typing.

Still working on past projects and some building on this cockpit. This will take a while. I knew it would but four hours later and I only have the rear IP doneShock [:O] I think I'm goingBlindfold [X-)] on the details.

Cheers all

Well, I have my kit, and I have the 1/72 Verlinden F-14 detail set on its way from Great Models (is it any good?...maybe I should have asked that before I bought it  Ashamed [*^_^*])I'm going to spend the next month waiting for the GB to start by building Hasegawa's ground crew/weapoms loading/ground equipment sets, and Fujimi's carrier deck crew with aircraft tug and fire engine. Anybody start yet/have progress shots?

Hey all, I've got Hasegawa's 1/48 F-14 JR last flight.  I'm hoping someone has got the small instruction sheet that has the color scheme and decal placement.
