If you guys go back to some of the early FAA posts we all posted pictures of ourselves, perhaps we should do that again?  Just an idea.

Dee are you going to join our build?

lewbud is correct!  The wife an I are a Texas transplant from Ohio but with all our Military Travels have been in Texas more than anywhere now. But you should see some of the genuine Texas characters I work with!  Hank Hill is our hero!

Bondo those pics remind me of European Vacation where Chevy Chase just barges in on those poor older Germans claiming to be related and makes himself at home! I'm thinking you had a similar adventure! Why didn't you show your daughter carring you back up the hill ! I remember those steep streets well! Raider I have it on good authority he missed the Pope but was removed by force from the Vatican for drinking the communal wine supplys!

Nam hows that GB coming! can't wait!

Frank ! Got any more rum?

Good to see you back Bondo! Did you meet the pope or at least see him? Croatia sounds like a neat little place, not just from what you said but from other things I've heard.

Thank you very much guys!!!! It is 1/72!!! Got on a roll last night(this am) and had to finish.

Nam, the lighting is probably the cause of it looking buff. It's pretty standard R-2800 colors. Grey crankcase with a lighter wash. Mettalic grey/Aluminum cylinders with a VERY thin black wash. Will see if I can get a better pic.

After this engine, I'll take that tot from..er I mean AND the lovely Suzanne!!!!!Wink [;)]

Well! Sir Bondo has resurfaced!Party [party] Great photos and I really want to hear what kind of meal you had with those neighborly folks! Missed you, man! Aaron shall sleep better!

CAG.....you pack much into your piddling time-off! F-8 is much improved!Thumbs Up [tup]

Ritchie.....what are the base colors of that superb motor? My photos are showing a buff color. Beautiful job though!

Frankie and Me received our PBY's as y'all may know! These 1/48's are HUGE.....plastic is similar to Tammy light gray styrene.....much better than to old murky metallic of the 70's kit. A little flash, but not in bad spots. Overall, it looks much more crisp than the older issue.

Rog! I just KNOW that is you as the Gay Cavaliere!

Dee.....go to bed!Laugh [(-D]

Roger- I saw a special on the Border Patrol this weekend while I was in Chicago, very interesting show!  Looks like a very dangerous way to make a living.  You be VERY careful out there buddy!

These are the things I wonder when I'm laying awake in bed at night.....Zzz [zzz]

I wonder if it was that special they had aired on Dateline not too long ago. I haven't seen it, but it does have its hazards. But not to worry- I'm the soul of caution! Besides, if anything happened to me, then whos gonna keep Roy away from my stash?Smile,Wink, & Grin [swg]

Just a heads up guys.  Seven days until the FAA/NAW GB Christmas gift exchange deadline.  I picked that date 15 Oct so we have time to shop and get the gifts in the mail, some have to cross the big pond.  Anyone who has not PM me with their info please do so.  Remember to include your current mailing address, scale, era, and type (aircraft, ships, etc) you would like in the message.
