Good luck Aaron!  I hope it's not too bad.  I'll be keeping an eye on the weather, hoping you don't blow away!  Check in periodically (if you can!) so we know you're OK. Thumbs Up [tup]

Looks like it's gonna be at least a Cat 1 hurricane now. 8 hours away and heading straight for Galveston. I hate being right dern weather people. When they say it isn't gonna be bad you better run for your life. If they say it is the end of the world. Better stock up on sunscreen!

I believe that the XO and the fair Katie have a perfect symbiotic relationship! He gets to work and model......she gets to do whatever the Halligan's of the world do!

Not being rude........but it works for them!

Yer lucky youngster!  Back when we had two a days, we were told we couldn't drink water or fluids in practice because we would cramp up.  We'd be given a salt tablet and no water.  If caught drinking we suffered the wrath of coach (cheap Star Trek ref).  Good luck this season.  Was a chilly 104 today in DFW.  Aaron, reef the sails and batten down the hatches and turn her into the wind.  If you could, send some of the rain north, we be a little dry up here.  Be safe.

Aaron....to echo above....Tammy tape is the real deal! Frankie sent a bit to me in a post.........I checked it and tried it in an odd spot. The Tamiya tape seems paper based and works very well! I bought some Pactra (vinyl based) tape this weekend.....no comparison! The pactra has it's uses.....but I'm really awaiting my Tammy tape!

Yer right raider83 ! Thats freaken freezing! Cool [8D]

YEp Nam those sudden Tornados stink. I was having a meeeting just prior to formation in our Motor Pool once and it started raining. Then it went sideways( the rain) and everything turned white as a cloud with a deafing roar! It was over that quick and the bay doors had been ripped clear off. 5 ton trailers flipped upside down, telephone poles snapped like tooth picks and Bradleys and APC's pushed off line about 11 feet rocking on their chocks.

Amazingly no one was hurt just wet. The funny thing was a clam shell warehouse next door was ripped to shreads and as we were walking surveying the damage. Soldiers started getting beamed by big rolls of bubble wrap falling from the sky like bombs. Quite the scene.

Is that Tamiya Tape good stuff? I have never tried it. Got some model master stuff but it is just so so. ( wait did I ask a modeling question? ) Sorry Ashamed [*^_^*]

Jeeze Aaron! Hope I didn't make light of it.....didn't mean to! Hope all are well and sorry your place got nailed! The storms never seemed to get north of Ft. Hood a few years ago! Too bad about the damage.....hope everyone's okay!

Hey Aaron! Yes! Been watching you weather down there. Brutal! While I was hospitalized in Temple, we would dread those T-Storms during hot weather. They seem to breed tornado cells and we'd have to evacuate to the basement. Being in a wheelchair made it a real pain! We never had one hit Temple while I was there, but they had to be careful.

I just rejoined the ship and will look at the XO's pc!

Ordered some stuff from SprueBrothers....a few kits and Tammy tape, on Saturday. They shipped today! Happy!
