I hope you fellas do not mind if I mention this here...

Today, we had our local model show which was also the #5 Regionals.  I won two first places, in 1/48 Axis aircraft and 1/48 Biplane.  I am very happy, did not expect to win anything!  I also bought four grand prize drawing raffle tickets for the big kits, and all four of them won! Blush [:I]  I picked out a 1/48 Academy F-22 Raptor, 1/32 Academy F-16, 1/32 Trumpeter SU-27, and I gave the fourth ticket to a little boy as I felt guilty winning so much.  A very happy day indeed, the rum's on me fellas! Thank you very much fellas!  It was quite a day I must admit.  I also had the chance to talk with Aaron Skinner, Matthew Usher, and Mark Hembree of FSM.  What a great bunch of guys!  They also asked to photograph my FW-190A-3 for the feature on the show.  What an honor!  Also had the chance to sit and talk shop with John Vojtech, a most delightful person and very down to earth.  I bought one of his scribing tools, and had the man himself show me how to use it.  I am still reeling from the excitement of the day!  Great job on the raffles!  All the jet age stuff are you branching out in your intrest?

Nice job on the raffles and nice of you to share the wealth! Of course had I been there I would have pushed the kid down and ran off with the goods! Evil [}:)]

Concrats to you Frank! Well earned and very deserved recognition!  I take it no Corsairs were harmed during this production? Thumbs Up [tup]

MORE RUM!!! Tongue [:P]

Thank you very much fellas!  You guys here the best I have had the privilege of building with.  I am very happy I could share this with you all.  Hard to believe I had any time to build with all of those posts, eh? Disapprove [V] LOL

Aaron- One fellow brought along 16 Corsairs for the show, can you believe it?  I tried to find him to ask about them but could never run him down.  They were all done excedingly well, and truly deserved awards IMHO.

Darren- Thank you very much old bean!  You are WAY too kind. Blush [:I]

Sean- When I introduced myself to Aaron Skinner by name (Frank), He said" Ahhh... Daywalker" not sure if that was good, or bad? Confused [%-)] LOL

Cheers! Make a Toast [#toast]

Congrats Frank! Tango 1, I was wondering if I could hop on in in the last 2 months of this thing. I kinda missed it... I have a 1/48th Revell Corsair that I've been wanting to build for a while now. Mind if I do a rather short OOB build? Thanks.

Ok. Count me in. The school work will go on... Actually, I have a break from Latin class this week (Angels in chorus sing) Angel [angel] so I can get caught up. This GB seemed too good to miss, so I'll stretch myself a little.

Oh, BTW, you'll have to make provisions for the junior! Wink [;)] No rum for me... lol. Is it okay if I drink root beer?

Ack! Thanks CPT Bondo!  That was a lot how it went today!  Truth be told it wasn't as bad as I feared today!  When I arrived they immediately had me sign all those consent forms for further extractions. I was like jeeze what am I going to eat with? Well It was a mistake as they were looking at last visit. They were able to repair much of the damage as they were broken and not decayed so I had some major reconstruction but with no Extractions or root canals.  Yippie. Made me a little sore but I am over it already so much better! Much cheaper than $2000 a tooth as well!  More to spend on scale plastic rather than descaling!  ICK!

Thanks for asking I will recommend this Crest Nightime health Mouth wash. Much better than the day stuff taste wise and it works! Really give it credit for a lot of the speedy healing in my old jawbones!

You know Bondo?  When I look closer at that pic it does look like one of FRank,s contraptions and get ups doesn't it? Maybe he missed his calling?

Actually it was closer to this?
