Horrible Picture Moe!!
Wrong guy driving. Lord help us if another Schumacher gets to be WDC!!!
Of course that will never happen {knocking on wood}.

You could build your Williams with the yellow helmeted guy driving and have pieces all mushed and falling off. . .well that happens to the little Columbian fellow too. . .

Hey Ron, no insult intended to you. The guy with the yellow helmet in the car is Ralf Schumacher, other wise known as crash-n-spin (Ralf is the baby brother of 6 time champion Michael Schumacher and *gasp* Ferrari driver). Ralf's team mate and better racer is the Columbian national Juan Paublo Montoya (JPM) known as spin-n-crash.
Ahh hell I was trying to be funny, and failed miserably.

Interesting comment by IAMCDN about the cost of the kit. I was totalling up last night the cost of getting the Studio aftermarket set, carbon fibre decals, replacement seatbelts and the Compaq set and it was going to be in the order of US$34 plus postage. The kit to buy in NZ is $79, say about $US48 whereas ex HLJ its about $US27 (guess where I'm getting it!!) but all told its starting to become an expensive exercise. But there again I'd like Scalemotorsports 935 aftermarket set (times 2 as I have 2 unbuilt kits) so I suppose this is cheap!

Before I do something stupid. . .again, what drivers do you like Ron?
I usually miss NASCAR races, except for the Daytona 500 and the other Super Speedway races.
I follow F1, Champ Car, WRC, SCCA PRO Rally and if I can ever find them F3000 races.
I started watching F1 when I was younger because they never get rained out.
Anyway, go to www.F1Rouges.com for some awesome pictures and more than a little trashing of drivers!

@HistoryinScale

I think FSM made a mistake in the yellow specs box
- the text mentions it as a Tamiya 1/20 F1 kit

I havent seen it in SAE - I’ll have to check that out :)

LOL I believe they did make a mistake and a big one hehe....I spent an hour looking for that kit after seeing that link!!!!!!

Hmmmmmm that text also reads almost identical to the review as in FSM? Am I buying 2 mags to get a review of the same kit which is almost verbatim? I need to find my SAE!
LOL

NO FW24!!!
THe store was swammped today, and they haven't unpacked stuff yet so I hope it is there tomorrow. . .

Jackal, I liked Mika. I loved it when he kicked Michael's butt, (Went crazy when the Ferrari slammed into the Mclaren of DC that was awesome!!)
But I think Kimi is his own worst enemy. . .too much pressure??
I wish F1 was as long as the NASCAR season. . .

Sorry but the majority of the F1 guys are too snooty and stuck on them selves to allow their season to be that long.......They can't even decideon one organization....... Sorrry but thatsmy own opinion....

You're getting CART / IRL confused with F1. Formula One has been under the supervision of the FIA since it's inception. CART / IRL are the Hatfields and McCoy's of American open wheel racing. That was basically because Tony George and the Indianapolis Speedway wanted things changed that the governing body of CART didn't want to see.

F1 races on 5 continents and their season is only 17 races long (this is chagning). The length of the season is mostly because of the travel. It runs primarily every other week from February to October with one back to back weekend, and week break tossed in once the circuit hits Europe. Those off weeks the teams retire to a home track and procede to test and work on the cars. Much the same as NASCAR does, only all of NASCARs circuits can be travelled to by truck/trailer in a matter of days, F1 needs more travel time

Kimi will be just fine.. he's only 24 for crying out loud. Big Smile [:D]
A more reliable car will show up next year. Look at what he did w/ an old chasis and some mechanical DNFs. 2nd overall. He's spot on going to win a few races next year and possibly walk away with the drivers championship.

OK now that you've got the kit and you thought your expenses were behind you check out the acu-stion site and the aftermarket sets they have for the FW24. They are fabulous(check out the Enzo, F40, F50 etc as well) but be prepared to take out a second mortgage!!
