Hi Capn, bad luck with the unfortunate chewing. My new pup is six months now, despite having a lovely Kong full of frozen dried food much prefers an empty plastic milk bottle to push around. My fellow is a Harrier about as much critter as I can handle at a time, boy can he headbutt when least expected.

Capn, you gotta love em, or you'd wanna kill em. Keep the faith. She will grow out of it, eventually.

Build update:

Regarding Aquaman, I threw a hail mary pass. More on that at a later date.

In the meantime, I am prepping for paint.

More sanding was done on the headliner. Also, two part epoxy was added to the inner tail of the airframe. Since that section will be seen from below, I had to smooth out 3d printing artifacts. I didn't do that section on my first application of epoxy.

I filled some gaps and shored up some weak spots on the tub. I have more joins to fill, and I will work on that today. I am extremely close to painting the inner structures, possibly this week.

While I was sanding the headliner, I added scratches to the windows. It was inevitable because of the space constraints. As hard as I tried not to, it happened. I had to sand them out and then polish. The silver lining is they look better now than they did before the scratches.

One step at a time finishes the race.

End of update.

Bakster: Sounds good, looking forward to photos!

Captain: I know what you mean, my sister has a new puppy. She comes over sometimes and wants to chew on everything. Thankfully nothing important or expensive so far.

Thanks, Cliff. Yeah I know I've been short on photos lately. It's just that some of what I am doing won't photograph well. For instance...

Yesterday I did more work on the tub. I used PPP to fill some of the joins, but that only got me closer to what I am looking for. I want a more rounded look to where the joins meet, and the putty wasn't doing it for me. I made a fateful decision. Using "thin" CA, I coated the areas I wanted fixed. I then went back to sand and shape. I think I have it pretty good now. I guess I won't know for sure until I prime it. With CA drying clear, it can be very difficult to tell, and certainly, very difficult to photograph. The joins will appear as though nothing was done.

LOL.  You know your cryptids. Well done sir!  Yes

I tell ya. I'd love to start a post asking people to share their crytid accounts. I won't though because some people can't play nice. That is unfortunate.

Lol. Yeah, you have a good point there. It's like them ghost hunter shows. They do investigations to find ghosts but when they find em, they run screaming like big babies. Now, with that said, I'd probably run screaming too but, I have the good sence to not look for them.

Btw. Please avoid Uber too.

So last night a strange thing happened. I watched a meteor crash into my back yard. I picked up what was left of it and it has some strange gooey green stuff on it.

Today, I took this selfie.

Yup. I am a little bored to spin a yarn like that. I guess I will go work on the model.

Ah! Well Hello! Let MR Haney help you out. What YOU need sir is a FLIR. I know just the person that can sell you one. Stick out tongue Down where you live, you probably have Skinwalkers, Mothmen, Chubracabra, Bigfoots, Dogmen, disembodied spirits, and most of all, Grey Aliens.

Every Flir order comes with one nail encrusted baseball bat for those active cryptid nights. The bat is free of charge. For an addtional $29.99, I will add a second bat that you can hand to your lovely wife.

Now. How many Flirs can I put you down for?

CONGRATULATION'S !!!!!

You just hit 48,000 view's  !!!    ( You have been seen more than any of the "Gilligan's Island" re-run's . )

To commemorate this "Milestone",  I give you a clear picture of the TRUE Bigfoot.

Unfortunately, I took this photo just as Bigfoot told the Bionic Man that he would NEVER survive on the Planet of The Ape's.

The "aftermath" ...

With his "dying breath", bigfoot swore that his relitives would seek revenge....

No worries for you though Baxter, .... Bigfoot says you can take care of his wife...

I'm not sure there's any cryptids around Virginia- well we do have Washington D.C. on the northern border and lots of weirdos there. And that's as political as I'm going to get...

There is Mothman and the Flatwoods Monster in West Virginia, guess either could drop in for a visit.

And the Lizardman of Scape Ore Swamp in South Carolina. He seems be busy chewing on car bumpers but I guess he could visit up here.

But I've got 'Old Choppa' so I should be safe...

1961: Lol, thanks!

I looked around online and other than Chessie, a Loch Ness Monster knock-off seen in the Chesapeake Bay the only 'cryptid' we have is the Bunny Man. A whacko that people claimed to have seen back in the early '70s running around in a white bunny suit threating people and smashing car windshields with a hatchet.

Wisconsin gets the Hodag and Ireland gets the Leprechaun and we get a whack-job in a bunny suit. I tell you, life isn't fair... Sad

Other than leprechauns there are also Banshees and after looking up Irish cryptids found the PookaGruagach a sort of big foot never new that. There seems to be a lot for a small island you'd have thought I would have bumped into one by now.

Hodag, yeah it's fake but it's still awesome:

http://explorerhinelander.com/what-is-the-hodag/

And those are interesting, that bear-wolf thingee- there are 'werewolf' sightings here.

Plus Sasquatch and Thunderbirds- which is odd since I think of the west for both of those.

And the Snallygaster, though that's more a Maryland thing.

There are cool non-cryptid stuff weird stuff like Beale's cipher with it's buried treasure which is supposed to be in Bedford- about an hour's drive from here. And Edgar Cayce who claimed to predict the future has a museum in Virginia Beach. It's about five miles from the motel I usually stay when I go there on vacation/holiday.
