I was just thinking of asking which serving machine you purchased whilst I was scrolling down and...... Here it is! Great work Steve.

Lookng at your early build photos makes me wish I hadn't of lost mine, nice work!!.

Mike I'll work on putting a link together  similar to what Steve has done, although geared more towards the rigging process.

thank's for that michael , that will come in real handy , and no I didn't double the jeer's , to be honest I didn't know they were doubled , I'm sorry michael but some thing's are beyond me , I think I will leave those skill's to modeler's of your better ability .

Can you supply a link to pictures of your model?

Steve there are 2 pendants of tackle per side setup with a long tackle block on the aft and single block on the fore.

Did you double strop those jeer blocks?

a question for michael please , are their 2 burton pendents per side , or a pair of 1 each side . just realised I had james lees book , 1 per side , I'll try not to be so lazy next time . 

also tried my new serving machine , on some of the block's , I saw michael painted his yard's black , think I might go down that route , the rigging should stand out more .

had a play with the one of the yards today , added some brass rod to stiffen them up a bit

Nice work Steve, the Mizen yard should pose no problem for you after this. I see you went with the use of the Carronades on the Forecastle deck, this would indicate a date no earlier than 1780 and will narrow your rigging options to after 1773.

started on the bow sprit , made my own jib boom , it's much sturdier , 

got your stools done dafi , thank's mate .

did a bit of work on the skylight .

Looks wonderful Steve. I snapped my ensign staff in half...arrrg!, the brown plastic in this kit is so brittle.

thankyou gentlemen , this is a mock up of the fifth knee , at least that is what I think it is called , it is just being balanced there at the moment , but I like it .

attempted some hand rail's from the poop to the quarter deck , don't want ot lose anyone overboard .

cheer's for that dafi , I take it , it goes behind the next cannon opening ?

I have attached dafi's knight's head by drilling some brass rod in the bottom , I know the figure head look's nothing like what it should look like . but I could not sculpt it  , I was hopeless , this one was off of the heller kit le superb , I think , I trimmed the wing's off and sanded a bit , it is as close as I can get .

Steve, it gets more beautiful with every picture. I love to follow your posts. My good friend Brian, who enters and wins a lot of the Tokyo/ Tamiya contests, built & entered his big Victory & won first place. He even cast a lot of his own crew. 

 He is my best friend's son in law & I got him started in models. It didn't take long for him to pass me. The last thing I saw him building was a 1/48 B 17. It was a cutaway & was unbelievable. I have got to get some pictures of it from him.
