 OK....

I'm in Wal-Mart's parking lot , just so I can show you what my wife let me get a few day's ago.

I couldnt wait to get to this one..... it's on my bench right now. Hopefully I can get some time later this week, and show you some progress.

I also got these...

And..... I know, ...I know.... this isn't a railroad forum. But, I got a PILE of HO scale stuff. And, I couldnt wait to get them on the bench, sooo...

Dont worry about the thumbprint, paint it Rust , and call it "Battle Damage"

Joe..color me jealous on the Staggerwing. Was top of the pile in her day and still a beautiful aircraft.  I know your build will do her proud.

Lol, I think they “borrowed” the molds from Mirage.  But it’s pretty nice.  He‘ll be less impressed at the fact the tires have no tread detail whatsoever!! Kind of a letdown!  I can’t find any aftermarket tires either. Bang Head

Just got my June issue of Airfix Model World Magazine in the mail and there was a nice surprise included.  A supplement showcasing the new 1/24 Hellcat.  I have one preordered so this will pair nicely!  A few more goodies added to the stash too.

Glad you like em Bobby. In the few months i have had mine i bet they have saved me a few quid in lost micro and weld. Not to mention spilling the weld over kit parts. I haven't split a drop since getting them.

Refreshing to see that everyone is continuing to enhance their stashes with some quality booty. Great stuff coming into the fold folks.

I've added a few choice items myself recently.

I purchased the Beechcraft and the Mig-25 simply for nostalgia's sake. I built these kits back when I was in high school and they hung from my ceiling for several years after I left home. They were eventually trashed when my folks clened out my room.

I finally picked this up while visiting my LHS this weekend. Thrilled to add this beaut.

Then got this sweet kit from Scale Hobbyist.

So...I am as clumsy as the come, and I spill my Tamiya cement and more so, my Micro Set and Sol ALL THE TIME.  I was telling someone about my latest Micro Sol incident (yeah, lost most of it on the table LOL!) and today I receive a VERY generous gift!!  Thank you Bish, you rock mate!

Where have these things been all my life!  LOL!  These are amazing!  And the their website has more stands and tools!  These gems come with three extra holders you can change out to fit any size bottle!

Those are slick Bobby. A noble gift from Bish indeed. I've yet to have any such mishap. Yet. But, I know my days are numbered and have considered some kind of fail safe holder myself. Those look to be likely candidates. I'm not so much worried about my own clumsiness but, rather the curiosity of our fairly new cat who likes to jump up on my bench and be "helpful" that concerns me.

Eagle90/Bish those are great.  I too have spilled the tamiya cement.... I've spilled many of the intentional horrible design microset/sol.  Great idea

Thanks,

John

Ordered this one after Stik's recommendation as a rebox of the Eduard kit.  Initial inspection confirms - really nice detail.  Resin wheels ( in addition to the kit wheels ) and resin seats.  Markings for 4 aircraft - pretty sweet deal for $20 on ebay (with free shipping).  I've been wanting to add a Hellcat after finishing my Wildcat.

Mopar Madness

A jewel in the collection for sure my friend. You would think Airfix would re-release these due to their popularity on the secondary market!

You never know, it might just be on their to-do list.

Mopar Madness

I’ll be curious to see how this one stacks up to the Airfix offering.

The reviews seemed to show them both very well detailed, though the CH kit coems with 2 rotor options. Given how close they seemed to be, the main decideing factor was the £7 price difference.

Bish

Been wanting to get a sea king to do one from the Falklands war for a while. After compareing the Airfix and Cyber Hobby kit, i opted for the latter.

Bish,

I look forward to seeing you put this one together. Yes

Curious how the metal kit works out.  I picked this up after watching lawdog's build.  First time GWH kit - looks fantastic on inspection.  Now to match lawdogs paint skills...

Thanks,

John

A Maus with a full interior. That would take me forever to build.

I have picked up a few smaller kits myself over the past couple of weeks. All Star Wars themed.
