HAHAHA  That would be my friends.  Except instead of a Gremlin it would be Jameson's Taurus SHO.  And a Star Wars Alien.  And yes, they both live in their mom's basements.  I have no clue what a Gremiln looks like, but I can still picture the scene perfectly with my buds.  (anyone else think thats a little sad)

EDIT  I just Googled some Gremlin pictures.  Aside from some of the horrid color choices that car would be cool if was fast too.  Since we all know how to airbrush we could fix the chartruese(spelling?) and make 'em really cool.  I'd do mine in Candy red since I know how to paint that now, Cosmic's would be a cool blue for his cheshire cat, Smeagol would do Acguy Brown, and Puma would change his every week.  Group build anyone??

I've not read thru all of the posts in the thread and skimmed quite a few of them, so don't know - do you get to count just TV Shows and movies?  Or do you go with novels?  I ask because there are two different answers depending on what source material you can use.

Regardless, I don't want to hog all the wins so will send you a PM w/my answers.  I'm curious ot know if I'm right or wrong.  Let someone else have the fun of getting the right answer and asking another question.

As to the Queen Alien and a Gremlin...  That'd almost be worth paying money to go see.

Been away from this thread a while, so I skipped ahead to the last page.  I know it was a while ago that you were dealing with the Alien Queens, but I had to check something.  I thought there were 3 made.  The the way I heard it, the original from Aliens was stolen from the warehouse ( how they pulled that off I'd love to know ) so the one for Resurrection was a complete remake, not just refurbished. The AvP queen would be 3.  Not trying to cause a fuss or anything, just wondering if anyone else heard of the Great Xenomorph Robbery or if it was some kind of movie urban legend.

Not sure how you think you got my goat, but sure, you can have them all.  They're free, after all.

Oh, heck yeah!  My favorite Kurt Russell and John Carpenter flick.  Heck, half of the cast of that movie is in a couple of Carpenters other flicks, with a bunch being in "Prince of Darkness".  Plus, lots of awesome one-liners, perfect witty banter, excellent action, Kim Catrall, tons of laughs and an exploding man!  Doesn't get much better'n that on a dark and rainy night!

Yeah, "Day" is one of my favorite SciFi classics and Rennie really sold the role of Klaatu, IMNSHO! And Gort...  There's a really kewel short story I read about "Day" that takes place somewhere in the middle of the main story, at the point where Gort resurrects Klaatu inside the ship.  I've got some trepidition about this upcoming movie w/Keanu Reeves.

BTW, Point of Order, tho - "Day" was made in 1951!  Well before the "Peacenik" movement got in to full swing in the early-to-mid-60's. Think I'll put it in here in a couple minutes and take the time to work on a model w/it in the background, tho....

 As a somewhat interesting aside - and totally Star Wars geeky - three of the background characters on Jabba the Hutt's sail barge in "Return of the Jedi" each had one of those words as their names.
