PatW, I have also been waiting for this kit.  Atlantis is scheduled to also release the "Unreal Roller".  I've been acquiring and building as many of the Tom Daniels's and Deals Wheels kits as I can.  Built them as a kid and still love them!

That's cool Pat.  I never built that one but have seen a couple unique builds and recall them from my childhood.

Thanks,

Steve & Gold, thanks.

Brandon, that's a great batch of Star Wars kits! I'm sure that you'll have hours of enjoyment building all of them!

Oh wow, that's quite the set of SW BK. I saw the Bandai Ashigaru Taisho Samurai Capt Phasma I'd love to get, but it's a little too pricey at around $100.

That looks awesome, but not $100 awesome.

BrandonK, I forgot to mention in my last comment you should try to snag the old AMT vinyl Rancor kit.  It's one of their best figure kits.

Nice finds stik.  Picked up an old Testors Bearcat, and found a source for the artwork.  Got it sent, just need to get it sized for length and width, and get decals made.  Will have to clip 2/3" off each wing, and end up with something that will resemble Rare Bear.

Wow!  Very cool Star Wars stash there BrandonK!  I've built some of those and also have some in my stash too. I've built the Darth Vader kit early in my return to the hobby.  Tip, because it's vinyl, fill the legs and possibly the torso with something.  I used plaster of paris in the legs and in other vinyl kits I've used that expanding foam insulation.  I have the other Hoth Action scene kit in my stash.  The one with the freighter and Y-wings and W-wings. I'm anxious to see when AMT rereleases their Star Wars kits if they're going to improve them at all.

Went and picked up some more Star Wars kits for the stash. I only had a few until now. With the Mandolorian so much fun it really got me juiced up to do a bunch of SW kits. I still have 3 vinyl kits on order, The Emporer, Luke and Han Solo. And I have the Mandolorian coming from Japan. Many of these are very old kits, but they should be fun to make something cool with.

I had the Hoth battle scene as a child and loved it. I was able to find one and I can't wait to pimp it out as an adult.

Pat, that buggy meet is too cool! OC IPMS where I was a member until recently used to have an annual "Cruise Night" theme every August with a similar diner setting for all the guys to bring in their 1/24 car builds and display.

So the past 48 hours has been good to my stash…

Yesterday this eBay purchase arrived in the mail

It’s slightly started, but very nicely so I must say.

Then at Phoenix IPMS, it was swap meet time. My first score was awesome…

This baby usually sell for way over $100, the seller was asking substantially less…

Then I open it up later on and what do I find inside? This lovely batch of decals! With markings in 1/72 and 1/48 for multiple types: F-105, F-4, A-4, A-6, and A-7! Seeing as how I don’t build in 1/72, I’ll be getting rid of those markings…

Then I found this dinosaur… seeing as how Kitty Hawk just went flat line, this is probably the only way that I’ll be able to get myself a 1/48 RF-101A/C. Modeling skills required. I haven’t done a vacuform in about 40 years…

Then I also picked up a partial Hasegawa 1/48 US Bombs set. I always need more Rockeyes and Napalm, which it did have. Along with the Mk. 83’s and Mk.84’s…. too bad the Snakeyes were gone… not worth taking a photo though…

That’s all for now…

Yes there is the Meyers Manx in those scales but by AMT. I've built seven of them so far..

Here's some of them at the Buggy Club Meet..

I've been thinking on those lines, i might even replace the resin piece completly with a printed paper one. It will be a while before i get to this one. I tend to work on these busts in spurts. The one i just finished, a Templar knight, and one i am working on, an SS bust from Kursk, the Mrs bought for my Birthday back in 2018. She has not bought me any since as i had these 2. I usually find something of a challenge on these, whether it be animal fur or medieval armour and they have really helped to improve my general painting skills.

That looks great Bish. As far as the map goes however, I'm with Gamera. Looking forward to seeing the finished model.

Pat: That's really cool! So many options, you could even build a surf board to attach to the roof.

Bish: Very cool too! Looking forward to seeing the bust you finished posted. This one's going to be a fun one to paint, love the camo cover. I wonder if you could just cut out a map printed off the internet and cement it over the resin one? Please let us know how you work this out Bish.

I got another bust finished a few weeks back, not taken the pics of it yet. I decided to replace it with a new one, and for a change i'm bying a Youngs bust myself rather than the Mrs buying me one for my birthday. I was drawn to this one when i first saw it as the vehicle side is a 251.

Of course what i had not considered is that i will have to paint the map. That should be fun.

That looks like a neat one PatW. I'm excited at the new you bring concerning the return of some Airfix classics. Wasn't there a version of the Myers Manx in 1/24 or 25 some time ago?

That will be a fun build.

After waiting since January this turned up yesterday.  On hearing that Airfix were re-issuing a range of 'Vintage Classics' I ordered one and now seeing it in the grey flesh I've ordered another. In my latest regime of not painting the body will be the grey plastic and it will be raised up off the chassis for more ground clearance..

I will also try and scratchbuild a hood/top for it.

John, that's a very cool looking GT and light Christmas tree. The perfect accessory for posing with your car builds!

Castel, the La-7 is just a good looking fighter. The ultimate WWII version of that family.

Falcon, you're gonna love that Eduard Gustav. I think that the only better kit of that version out there is the new Tamiya kit... and then just maybe...

Ordred this christmas tree for posing pictures of my drag cars - should be fun.

This was 'technically' ordered by me, but my wife is giving it to me for my birthday next month Cool

I was looking at the photo thinking "I don't see parts for a pine tree ANYWHERE!  Is it the green paint on the cutting mat?"  Stick out tongue  Sad but true.  I'd blame it on Mondays, but it's Friday so...

That's the way it is here at my house. I give here a list to choose from because I really do want to be surprized and she tells me to go ahead and order somthing and she'll pay me back. That's not as nearly as much fun.

Yeap, something like that here. I ordered a boatload of stuff from HLJ for my birthday next month. I'm going to leave the box unopened till then.

Very cool Keav John and Falcon John!!!

Love that La-7. It was one of my first models that I built all by myself. Bought it in Hungary while visiting relatives. Kits were hard to come by those days, back in 70s.
