 now a question: because I'm not familiar with resin-yet-, is it sorta normal for defects (ie breaks/missing corners) to be found? or just "the luck of the draw" with a peticular package?

Thanks, Guy.  The well fix was so simple- yet it eluded me for sooo long!  The wheel well doors did cycle on landing to avois rocks and such being clanged up into the works- but if you can show all that juicy interior detail, don't you think I will?  ;D  Let's just say it's under a pre-flight inspection- I'm sure that happened on a regular basis.  Thanks for another greta pic, to!

Wow, Chuckeroo. The wethering is looking fantastic. I love the splash effect of the drips and drops. Nice save also on the flawed resin piece. You are a true artist.

One thing though. I looked into getting the wheel wells for my one a while back, but from what i could deduce the gear doors were shut on the ground? You could say the hydraulics failed.

Another great post....yes, those pesky everyday jobs around the house. They kinda keep us away from the important things. Know how it goes..

If it had not been for babysitting the grandkids, grocery shopping with the wife, etc.....I could have gotten more done at the workbench....welllllll somethings take priority ya know.

 So much going on- so little modeling time!  Why are automobile tail lights so hard to change, and styrene so easy to over-sand?   In one case, the hands are too big- and in the other, WAY too big!  Ditch-digging would make a greta hobby, don't you think?  ;)

I have learned another great tip.  Thanks again for the inspiring build and thanks for sharing.

Gee, Pfennig's getting pretty testy, isn't he? Maybe some hasenpfeffer and sauerkraut will put him in a better mood.

I've been at a point lately on my model where I'm having to do a lot of shimming, so I know how that goes.

Great work on a difficult piece, Chuk.

By the way, I'm with you on the PE seatbelts - I far prefer the unpainted ones. So much easier to deal with.
