My latest Revell production is a B-29 Super Fortress converted to the Silverplate Enola Gay B-29-45-MO 44-86292, as the Little Boy bomb was released over Hiroshima, Japan on 6 August, 1945.

This is kit # 85-5711. The flight deck and bomb bay were altered, tail gunner position detailed, turrets and observation blisters removed. I did not build the aft cabin because it would have been very difficult and totally hidden. Thre is a full crew less the two that occupied the aft cabin. The bomber has over 200 scratch built parts.

Beautiful job on all those. I also built that white Phantom, only mine was the Hasegawa model and was a real bear to put together! The decals kept breaking as well, making it even more difficult! Glad to see yours looking far, far better!

These are some of my latest Revell models.

First is this Stearman in 1/48 I built as a review model:

Next is this Revell French Neiuport in 1/72 scale:

Finally, this Revell 50th Anniversary re-issue of the Chris Craft fishing boat:

I do hope these show up. If they do, enjoy!

EDIT: Fixed it. They do now.

Great work on the B-25 Max. The wear and weathering looks just right to my eye.

In my own opinion I think it's hit or miss with these kits.  I've had a few that were a bit difficult, some went together great, and I had one that was horrible and made it's way to the trash.
There is a few kits that I would like to have a do over with, I have a bit more knowledge now.

This C-17 Is one I wish to do again.

A really fantastic addition into Max's office museum!  You did a beauty of a job on her especially it being a older Revell.

Nice buildbuilds Max. Cant beat the Tomca for the price. With a bit of skill and sweat, it can be turned into a gem.

Hey, Thanks for the compliment. Here's a couple more shots showing that the wings work well and the ordnance load was well detailed. I should also mention great decals.

OK, I'll put my two cents worth in. The 1/48 F-14A Tomcat wasn't too bad of a model or at least looks good finished. Lotsa gaps and some fit issues but the overall package makes for a nice inexpensive model that can be made to look nice.

Another Revell model (which is also one of my favorites) is the 1/48 F-84G with nuke. This thing has Tamiya detail! Strange for a Revell but this guy approaches first class overall. Check 'em out!  Smile

This was my last build, the F-86F re-issue of the original 1976 release.  I built this sporting an experimental camouflage scheme in 1956 as a part of a European squadron, the 86th FDW of the 461st FDS.  The colors are medium sea gray and dark green over PRU blue with custom decals for the squadron insignia and codes, and custom painted yellow diamond over black stripes.
