Thanks, buddy- there is still a ton of work- gotta do the edge frames for those sliding cockpits, mask all the clear parts, add some photo-etch to the exterior- then PAINT!!.  But first, a nap... ;-)

Let's hope I rise again! ;)  I really just make my own problems- I made those original panels before I'd glued the fuselage and deck together and could in no way test-fit them.  Then they went in a little storage bin for months and months... It'll all work out.  Over on the Aircraft Resource Center boards, Pierre, aka Scalephantomphixer has broken the floats on his beautiful Tamiya stringbag diorama once, melted them in a second try and has rebuilt the whole diorama over again, including a scale bicycle and trout- yes, trout!  I take my determination inspiration from this thread:  http://www.arcforums.com/forums/air/index.php?showtopic=144277

Thanks, Guy- I should be working, but at least modeling gives me something I can piddle around with in between bouts of wandering around the house in a zombie-like state.   That's not a whole lot to get done in three days, but it's nudging this boulder a few inches closer to the finish line- or is that the edge of a 400-foot cliff?   ;D

Thats just typical. You produce amazing stuff even when your ill LOL. Mail me the failed bit. Its a work of art in itself. Ill stick it on my modelling shelf as something to aspire too.

Curtiss had the same problem, but no one there had Chukw's skill and perserverence.

First of all, many thanks to all who helped with research on the color scheme- a lot of folks dug and dug, and the results came up... overall Glossy Sea Blue!   I'm busy consulting and reconsulting my Magic 8-Ball to see if it will be a yellow-nosed bird from the Bunker Hill or a White-striped Beast from the U.S. Randolph.  Answer hazy- ask again later!    In the meantime, here's a tale of dogged perseverance against events both physical and metaphysical- read on, if you dare!

I want more!  I love this WIP.  Once he finished this kit someone should go through, take out the replies, and sticky the thread, because this is some really good info

Hey thanks Chuck. The Halo guys arrived today! My son is very happy!.

Any ways my son has been bugging me about some comic book convention in San Diego. Keeps yapping about the Halo figures series are there. Rang a bell and thought that may be keeping ya occupied.

If yer close by go ahead and swipe him a few. He will be most appreciative. LOL

I'm really busy in my personal life and job right- haven't had a minute at the bench.   I've been to Comic Con International in San Diego, which was both fantastic- and draining.  I have a table in Artist Alley and sketch and sign autographs and show our studio's animation to just about every one of the hundreds of thousands of people that attend.    Hopefully, I'll get some time this weekend- but again, things look busy.

I agree with this, I do enjoy Chuck's posts, but it's a bit misleading to have 6+ new email for this thread and having them all be akin to begging at the edge of Chuck's workbench.

But, after 24 pages, I'm use to it. You know no one can stop you (nor should), but at least know that it does affect others.

Getting that old itch! Good news though......My doc called me and told me that rum in 'moderation' will not effect my Lyme Disease meds. (Now, why did she have to call me for that?!)

My main medicine will now hinge on a 'Beastly' installment. I'm sure it's coming.
