I hope 2 ounces of alclad will paint the B-29, cause that is way expensive stuff.

POLLS are now CLOSED

However, fate still hangs in the balance for four among us.
Please make your way back to the voting system ASAP to vote on the TIE-BREAKERS

I would just like to point out that democracy has once again proven that aircraft are the absolute coolest things in the world, thereby validating my so-called "obsession", as the wifey puts it.

Well OK, so be it. The only thing about this kit is acording to others on another forum, ASB and Flightdecks both are to release sets for it in the next 4(?) months or so. But it should work out. I have 3 builds I need to finis up anyway..Thanks for the updates..............Harv

I have voted in the 4 tie breakers.

It would appear I am building a floaty thing. I wasn't really expecting that to get chosen, but it's going to be interesting...and fun! First thing I have to do is order some ship type paints. I think I had all the paint for 14 out of the stash list, but you guys managed to choose the one I wasn't expecting.

What color.. I have a crapload of it from my work, it was too expensive so it never sold. So i got like 30 bottles for free.. and can prolly get more at like 60% off.

EDIT: I voted for the tie breakers

My tie-breaker votes are in, too.  Unfortunately, I think my vote put bspeed back in to a 3-way tie.  Sorry!

Well, I got my tie-breaker votes in... Do we have a deadline for those votes to be in?

I guess I will let you know about my AH-1W: I've got 2 kits, so I think I may do a side-by-side build if that's OK with the rule makers? I have a Verlinden update set for one of them and a good copy of the same set for several pieces of the other one. I also have the excellent Two Bobs "Whiskeys in the Mix" decals, which is the reason that I have 2 kits. I wouldn't want all those great decals to go to waste, now would I? I thought about getting the Cobra Co. NTS upgrade, but with their shop shut down and the set hard to come by, I may just try to scratchbuild the differences if I can find good reference. It seems like I'm setting myself up for failure, as I've got this and at least 2 other GB projects to start and finish this year, but I think I can do it. Wish me luck!

Looking forward to starting the Devastator.  I've never done a kit with that many resin bits it's sure going to be interesting.

I just got in from work this morning and voted on the tie breaker!

Now to take down the Hind kit and lay it on the work bench. My detail sets will be on on the 5th, now to look for some decal sheets.

I won't be able to vote a tie-breker until later today as I am here at work, working hard, really hard, being very productive in my workman-like work. I have bony fingers because that's what you get when you work your fingers to the bone.

I am looking at the Big Ed photo etch set for the Bullfrog. First time I will spend more on am parts than on the kit. (Does that even make senseConfused [%-)])

TGregory....I feel the same pain in my wallet too when it comes to these PE sets. last year I bought 4 of the White Ensign PE sets for the Tamiya Bismark and it was nearly twice the price of the kit. I shelled out $55 the other day on stuff for the Hind....good thing the wife is away in Arkansas visiting her mother right now.

Finished voting for the tie breakers.  Some of those were harder since I had originally voted for both!

The pressure is sure on me now though....the sole armor build.  Good thing it's just an OD subject rather than a horrifying Ambush Scheme.

Tiebreaker votes are in although there's at least one kit that hasn't gotten anywhere as it is still tied after 20 votes.  It'll come down to the wire I guess.
