Sherman1111- The missles are looking fantastic, can't wait to see them loaded up on the carrier and ready to go.

I hope everyone surived the "upgrading" of the FSM site and forums. I might have been a casualty of the change because all mosts have this weird computer code added to all of them and their pretty mcuh unreadble. Hopefully it will get sorted out soon, if not the mods are gonna get an earful.

As for the GB vote, last I checked it's 2 votes for Badge#1 and 4 votes for Badge#2. Vothing will remain up for a bit, because the forum change has probably given some people(including me) a hard time.

Hmmm... I like both of them but I'll go with #1... its a little more iconic in my mind.

I've started a bit of building as well, with my T-62. Nothing much to report or post... its my first tank build in over 7 years (and my first in 1/72) so its going to be messy.

balta1- Looks like your off too a good start, plus it doesn't look like have had to do alot of part cleanup. I was checkin' out my T-72, and long story short I have my work cut out for me.Sigh [sigh]

Great to finally see a vote for badge #1, for awhile there I thought I was the only one that liked it.

Sherman1111- Your 'Ganef' is coming along nicely! Those missles look great, just one question what kind of glue are you using?

 ** OFFICIAL FSM NOTICE **

If you haven't heard the news already, then here it is.....FSM and the forums are being revamped and the forums will be down Monday to Tuesday.

Here is the official notice from Meagan McChain, one of the moderators: "I have exciting news! If everything continues as smoothly as it's going now, our brand new FineScale.com will go live sometime during the day on Monday, Dec. 7th. Then, on Tues, Dec. 8th, the brand new forums will be launched.

However, because content on the forums needs to be transferred from the old to the new, the forums will be unavailable from Monday to Tuesday. The forums will be completely unaccessible at this time.

On the plus side, when the forums our unavailable, our brand new site will be! So, if you try to get to the forums and you can't, head over to FineScale.com and check out the new site, including our new Modeling Tips Database, FSM Insider page, brand-new How-To videos, and more.

When the new forums go live on Tuesday, I will post information on the new features and provide a link with even more information on how to use the new features."

That's zero votes for badge #1 and three votes for badge #2.  Though let's wait a bit and get some more votes in from other fellow 'Bear Trappers' before I make the final call.

Do you want to keep one badge over the other, both badges, or maybe none of these badges?Question [?] (note: I included two sizes of each badge, LARGE size and badge size)

Sorry about the delay on the badges, guys. But I finally have some free-time today, so I'll work on them tonight, hopefully they won't dissapoint. We'll then vote on which ones we want to keep or get rid of......sounds good?

Komrad Sherman1111,

What a great subject! Russian rocketry is always visually unique, and the Ganef is no exception. I too will be watching your build with interest. Good luck Komrad! Have fun.

Sherman1111- Looks like a pretty sweet resin kit.Thumbs Up [tup] Suprisingly enough, I have never worked with resin, so I'll be following this one very intently.

Hi Mg.

Can you add a Italeri 1/72 T-62 to my list? Thanks.

Sure, no problem.

Tommorrow the GB starts guys!! Hope you got your sprues ready and Soviet accent ready to go.Wink [;)]

Badges......some of you guys probably wonder why I don't have any up yet. Well I do have a reason for that, college finals. However I may find some time later this week to make some since I found some amazing artwork done by a soviet-afghan soldier. So just be patient and I don't think they'll dissapoint.

Ok, as long as it is ok for me not to rely get started until January, I would like to join the other Trappers. I will build a 1/72 Hobby Craft MiG-25 in green, brown, and grey camo from the last year of the war.

   Sorry for poor photo quality.
