Hey guys - TONS of good work! Wow! This is the first time I've been able to get on in days without a pile of error messages from the forum...hopefully those issues are fixed. Will get an update of my (now primed) Type 90 later today.

Well round two of trying to update my progress.the first pic is the drivers periscopes.These were painted flat green installed then painted yellow ochre. It's tough to see the clear area but it'll show later.The hood over the drivers periscopes was kit provided P.E. .After trying to adjust it to fit it broke into several pieces which were soldered together. Some brittle stuff.Next on the agenda were the magic tracks.As usual they were a breeze. Also got most of the gun assembly primered and painted ivory. I used the split rear hatch option although I have'nt seen it in any pics. An interior shot shows some of the verlinden detail and the periscopes. Worked on some tools and such,the jack block is Basswood and P.E..Dragons tool holders are an absolute pain to deal with! Theres more but I know that this really kills you dial-up guys so I'll leave it at that.

Okay, here's those finished pics I promised yesterday, but ran out of time to actually post. Anyways I did some research and it all seems to point to this vehicle serving in the 29th Guards Heavy Breakthrough Regiment, Poland, in January 1945. Scratched parts include the towcable, grab handles, seams on the turret, and headlight lens. Enjoy!

Well guys, looks like I'll be starting this build now.
Was working on my C-47 and laid down the first coat of primer, let it dry and low and behold, orange peel. Ugh -_-' So, until I can get to the hobby store or Home Depot and buy some sand paper it's sitting off to the side.
My model is the Dragon T-34/76 Mod.1941 Cast Turret. It's going to be straight OOB and more than likely not weathered as I haven't a clue how to do it on armor. (Okay, MAYBE a wash but we'll see when the time comes.)
I see you guys wait until everything is almost complete until you paint everything. Any more insight on this? This is my first 1/35 tank build. Only other 1/35 armor build was a 251/17 that hasn't been finished.

Personally i'm a paint as you go type,especially primering sub-assemblies,roadwheels ,lower hull,etc..Welcome and keep us updated onyour progress.And of course any question you have can more than likely be answered by any one of several Treadheads here.

MG Mikael, I'm still amazed at that camo job! How many hours were you hunched over the work table dabbing away with your brush... and how's your neck doing!?
Storch update - cockpit sub-assemblies are slowly being painted, just need to assemble, wash & highlight these for the most part. Just for the change of pace I moved on to the wings last night. Lots of little attachment points for the slats/flaps/ailerons needed to be cleaned up but the fit was darn near perfect. The leading edge seams just needed a little swipe of sandpaper & will basically disappear behind the slats anyway. I'll add some progress pics in the next couple of days.
Oh, winter update - snow all day here today, expecting 8-9" of the fluffy stuff, just enough to inspire the Winter Warriors!! Keep up the great work gang,

Mg.Mikael - wow man, that looks awesome! Great job on this one. Surprised more people haven't commented.
One suggestion. As the whitewash was a pretty temporary application, it wore off pretty easy. Maybe do a bit of drybrushing with the base color green on the high spots to give it the "lived in look"?
Josh - glad to hear you're "officially" in with your T-34! I have some ideas for your camo-ing questions, but they're really pretty dependent on exactly what scheme it is you're looking to replicate. Got a pic/scan/link or something to look at?
Tony - can't wait for more. What markings are we looking as here? Some numbers and balkankreuz's?
Wingy - took me a couple of looks to figure out what you're referring to. Will update page 1 later today. Hehe.

VanceCroizer- Thanks for the comments! As for the neck...... I'm doing just fine and have already moved onto another build for another GB. But that one will be a one-tone paint scheme, luckily.
dupes- No worries, alot of my fellow modelers from this GB checked this build out in the armor section thread that I started. As for the white wash, I completly forgot it was a temporary application, I'll be sure to remember that fact for my next whitewash application in Winter Warriors III.
p38jl- Thanks for the comments!......carpal tunnel, with almost every comment, someone tells me how the scheme either hurts their eyes or is bad for my health.

As far as the scheme, just take a look at Wingnut's build. Going to be exactly the same, but not. Mine will be minus the mud, dirt and skill, lol.

Hey guys, checkin' in. Lots of great work so far! Mikael's makes me a little dizzy looking at it but its a very unique paint job!
Thanks for the tips on how to save some space. I've finally gotten all moved into the new house and rescued all my modeling gear from the shed out in the cold to some drawers in the dining room. So it looks like the dining room table is my new work bench. Any how, if ya'll don't mind, I'd like to change my project to a 1/72 scale Jadgpanther. Can't remember the manufacturer but I'll find out when I get home. Since I don't have a dedicated work space or place for the airbrush yet, it'll be easier to build a small scale armor piece and brush paint it and still be able to store everything neatly away. Shouldn't take long either. I hate to abandon the Stuka for now, but such is life.
I'll post pics of the kit later on today. Keep up the good work and I hope to get back on track soon. I'm starting to get the shakes, haven't touched a spru in weeks!

Just a quick update.Checking the fit.and the spare track holders needed to be moved to accomadate the split hatch.
