My apolgies for not keeping up with my posts lately. I've had a lot (tons) of happenings going on in my little corner of the world lately. I have been lurking though and like what I see.
Trey , that is an awesome job you've done on that wing. I built that kit a number of years ago, had it hanging on the wall to show it's profile when it was bumped and fell. Been sitting in the "to be repaired" hanger since with a couple flaps , landing gear, and a few prop blades needing reattachment. You've got me thinking of dragging it out and returning it to flight status.

Doogs- Watching your build tempts me more and more to rush out and add it to my stash. Looks great.
In spite of some home remodeling work , getting laid off, job hunting , getting called back to the job, major drain leak in the kitchen wall, etc; I have been able to get the engines on my Goonie done. Here's pics.

BTW -One of the things getting in the way of bench time. My dad passed away a week ago. He was 91 , WWII and Korean war vet , 35 years service with the Army Air Corps, USAAF, charter member of SAC, charter member of the USAF. He's also the one who taught me about craftsmanship and the difference between just being a father and being a dad. Buried with full military honors.It was beautiful, quite moving. Ret.
