Yeh, Wing Fit is always an issue with those.  And even with the cross spars they used for the wings, they still have a tendency to dip.    But they are worth the effort though.. Beautiful kit.  I wish I had room to do mine right now, but I wouldn't know where to display it.

I've built it three times, I think.. Could be four, I ain't sure since it was the 70s, when I built them,  lol... Got two (one 1977 release, one Revell WW2/Korean War re-release) in the hangar right now as well..

BTW, what "Un-squished" B-25 parts do ya need?  I got a hangar queen J-model here...

I was about 12 when I got my first one.  It came out OK, but not as well as I had hoped.  I guess at 12, we don't have such a great eye for detail.  The options back then for gap filling usually boiled down to liquid resin or plaster.  The Putty was horrible.  Right now I have 2, well I think 2..  I got one that had the fuselage assembled already, I am not even sure if it is complete so I consider it a parts kit.  Then I have one still in shrink wrap that I got for Xmas back in 2009.  No place to build or hang it so it's sitting in the stash until I do.

When I say flattened, I mean just that.  Fuselage, some of the wing components near the engine nacelles etc.  I stripped out all of the bits I could salvage for parts and tossed the rest.  It was a complete write-off.  Luckily I didn't spend much on it.  Now I don't buy any open box kits on eBay unless they show images of the inner contents.  I don't know if it happened in shipping or not because all they did was wrap the kit box in brown paper and ship it.

Yeh, the waiting drives me nuts.  I'm in 3 GBs right now and in all 3, I am waiting for some parts or paint or something else..  In this one I am waiting for some decals for the Mosquito that I ordered about 2 weeks ago...  I'm half tempted to say the heck with it and do one of my B17's or B29s instead.  At least I have just about everything I need for those.

Hey B17Pilot, if crossovers are allowed, I'm going to double up with what I'm doing in the Falklands Group build, the timelines will sync up alright I think. I've got an FMA IA 58 Pucará in 1/72 from Special Hobby that will fit the bill, twin turboprops.

If crossovers are allowed, then I am about to start a 1/48 Revell PF110 for the Secret SSanta build.  WOuld that make a proper crossover.  If I can use that here too, then I don't have to spend any more time goofing around waiting for decals.

Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE MicrosoftInternetExplorer4

I haven’t even started it yet.  I have until next Xmas to finish it for the Secret Santa Build though, so if I can do that for both which shouldn’t be a time issue, then I can concentrate on the F4 build I have started on.  It would also uncomplicated my list a bit. Lol

Just the normal Revell 85-5523 1/32 kit.  I don't know why I keep thinking this is a 1/48 kit, but it's 1/32.  I will try and squeeze in the Mosquito if I have time after the BF110.

I won't be able to even think about building the Wingscale B-25 until next year, but I still can't wait for it to get here, just so I can behold it in the box!

Yeh, you can get just about anything on eBay if you're patient.  I just scored a Revell 1/48 F84F for 0.99, and I finally got a 1/48 F102 Delta Dagger that I had been trying for for about 2 years now , for $14.00.  Patience pays on eBay.
