Armor86- It worked.  Looks like you owe Doogs a Beer or two.  Your Pz III looks great especially the steel cables in the rear.

Man, now I can't wait to start mine... Tongue Tied

Armor86- This will help you.  Our friend DoogsATX wrote a great blog how to post photos a while ago.  I found his information very helpful...

http://doogsmodels.com/2011/01/27/how-to-post-your-photos/

Now you can go back and edit your posts below doing the right way.  Good luck!

Dragon USA Online is pretty ridiculous that way...some of their sales are amazing. I'm surprised that a lot of the retailers (even online ones) who buy from them are too happy.

But I sure am! Stick out tongue

SWEET!!!  Fed Ex man just droped off my order from Dagon USA Stick out tongue  Received all the kits as posted earlier.  All togther (if you break these value packs apart) got:  2 tanks (PZ III Ausf K, 15cm Sturm-Infanteriegeschutz 33), 3 train cars (Schwerer Plattformwagen Typ SSy "flatcar", S.Sp. Artilleriewagen "with PZ III turet", railway Gondola Typ Omar), and 4 figure sets (Waffen tank crew 1944/45, German 6th army, German Feldendarmerie with dogs, German AA gun crew).  With the sale at Dragon all of this was what have been about the price of two kits!  On top of that, it was free shipping and received a free Concord book and received money back ($9.50) towards my next purchase with them.  I think thats a NICE dealYes

With all the train cars, guess one could guess of the dio that will be coming in the near future.

OOOHH the drool is flowing!!!!!

satch ip-  Don't hesitate to post pictures of your new addition... remember we love pictures! Stick out tongue  Just to make sure you are still doing Pz Ausf F and K... is that correct?

Guys- So far we have 23 participants... it is looking real good!  Off to do some yard work.  Somebody has to keep my wife happy...

The FedEx guy just brought my newest additions to my PzIII collection.  Dragon USA had a sale going on and I picked up the Flammenpanzer III and the Auf G Afrika Korps at 1/2 price.  Very nice...

Sign me up for the Pz III Ausf J with short 5cm L42 gun. I'm on a business trip till May 24 and have had lots of time to spend on the Ausf. G, just got the fenders mounted ... don't have a digital camera with me though. When I get home I'll post some photo of it along with the Pz IV. Ausf. F1 I finished while out in N. Virginia.

Guys- I am back from my "working vacation"... I have to agree with you this time.  Sitting and listening at workshops for three days can be tiring but nothing beats hitting the beach when I am free.  My co-worker and I managed to make a quick trip down to Key Largo for scuba diving and it was just great!!!

Unfortunately I only have two 'working vacations' every year.  Next one will be in Salt Lake City, Utah in October.

Geist- Welcome aboard!  I must have misunderstood you earlier because I had you down for StuG III Ausf G instead of Pz III.  Is it still Cyber-Hobby?

armor86- Sounds like you are a big fan of Panzer III.  It would be great if you can sign up for this GB with your Pz III Ausf J with short 50cm.  That would help us close that gap for Ausf J initial.  Just let us know if you are interested.  Thanks and welcome to the forums and don't hesitate to post your Pz III Ausf G when you are done.

Rob-  You ordered FIVE kits?  Sounds like you need this therapy more than any of us! LOL  I can not decide between Strum 33 and Pz. Bef.Wg III on flat bed... both looks GREAT!  Why don't we wait and see how things come out later this year to see if those gaps need to be closed or not.

MAJ Mike-  You have to try those Mojito drinks in Miami Beach... Toast

Boyd- Heck yes, Dupes is a bad influence... he got me into starting  Pz III GB after following his Pz IV GB last year.  Promise you if you sign up he will go away... Wink

Almost five weeks to go... I know it is driving our friend Ben (Hinksy) driving... gonna tune to BBC to make sure there is no reports of a young man jumping off theTower of London.

Boyd - didn't you snag a Cyber-Hobby rebox of the StuG III E/F at AMPS last fall?

Nope.... it was the PzIII G 'Afrika Korps'. I've also got the Stug G that you snagged for me.

Or am I completely mis-remembering? It's panzer 3's, after all...I'm sure you could un-swear off of GB's... ;)

Careful.  I was sternly admonished for stroking the parts in my Panzer III L kit.  In the meantime, I've started a Tiger I.  Its the old Tamiya kit, but its relaxing and I've got some after-market stuff for it.

Got an e-mail from Dragon about a clearence sale.  I'm on my way to look.  Maybe something good is available.

If Andy is relaxing on the beach what else is there too do except fondle our kits? Huh?  Is this a support group or an influential group, I just ordered and hope to have here by the end of the week:

All of these may be my secondary kit.  They are all PZ III related, now the question is which should I do after building my kit I had signed up for?  My primary kit was:

My other question...I have already built the Dragon Ausf K so the new one I ordered plan on making it into an Ausf M, what all needs to be changed to do so?  The most noticeable would be the gun mantlet and the star antenna.

And YES cant wait to start the fondling Stick out tongue

I just picked up DML old Imp Series Pz.Kpfw III Ausf M and Pz.Kpfw.III Ausf N w/Schurzen, and have the DML Pz. Kpfw III Ausf. J - 2 in 1 kit and can build as an initial J w/short 50cm L42 gun. I'm currently building a DML Pz. Kpfw III Ausf G "DAK" - 9116 old Imp. Series 9032 kit.  armor86

I've picked up my Pz III G that I indicated that I would build. Now I've just got to weather my current project and then finish another before I can start the III. I'm looking forward to building an Afrika Korp tank, I've not built one since my first tank, the older than dirt Tamiya Pz II. That older than dirt comment is relative of course given the fact I'm only 20. Wink

Hey Andy,

Having a nice break im Miami mate? Super Angry Wink Toast

That long grass and wire does look a bit suspect I must say?

I don't know how popular the show is over there but just watching CSI here (which is stupidly popular and a show I love) has made me want to go there - and Vegas too (apart from the brutal CSI murders obviously)! Las Vegas isn't the same after Grissom (William Petersen) left though - Fishburn is definately no Grissom.

Can we have Hugh Laurie back after you've finished with him btw please? What season oh 'House' are you on now?

Anyway, get back and get this GB started will 'ya - I don't think I can stretch making a base for my StuG out over another month you know. Saying that, I've got that tiny 1/144 Dragon Lang which would make a nice weekend build.

As for a girlfriend, you're havinn, a bleedin' bubble aintcha (bubble bath - laugh)? I'm not long out of a 3 year relationship with an engagement tapped on the end for good measure. I've had enough of women for the time being. Anyway, if I get desperate I've always got my (oops, family site isn't it)! Zip it!

Between work, sleep and models my days are very full Stick out tongue

Look forward to having you back buddy!

I know I'm in the wrong business.  Model-blogging from the hotel swimming pool or beach cabana sure sounds nice.

What drink goes with a Panzer III?  Would the little umbrella in the drink have a DAK palm tree insignia on it?

The world wonders.
