Ninetalis - I got my refund for the incorrect model but I'm keeping the one she sent me. Please change my entry to an Academy 1:72 F-14A.

Thanks.

I've seen your post, really sucks man!
Have you found an agrement with the seller yet?
I really hope you can start anyway.

I would choose the Italeri kit, just because I prefer Italeri over Revell most of the time.
As I said before, HobbyBoss has one to...
There's a review about it in one of the latest Finescale magazine's, and this week,
you don't have to be a magazine subscriber to be able to watch the reviews and such.

I've escalated my claim on Paypal so the Seller has 10 days to reply. I figure it may take 3-4 weeks to get sorted out. Until I get that sorted out, I won't be buying another model. I'm definitely still in the GB though. I may just get a later start. (I want to finish my Spitfire for the Airfix GB anyway.)

Thanks. I have a bit of a MiG thing going on. Russian aircrfat ain't really my thing, but your right, they do have some nice aircraft. I would love a decent Su 25 and 27 kit in the stash.

Looks cool, I really want one of those!
I just love Russian jets!

BsYamato
some strange fighters you got there...
I have only played crimson skies once, wasn't really my thing,
I rather have Ace Combat or Sturmovik.

I'm sure for the italeri, just because have engraved panels and sure better decals, dunno about revell-monogram tomcat Huh?

I remember one of my friends build one monogram with PE parts included but don't remember how surfaces was. Best way is to ask local vendors to show you the two boxes opened and check inside.

Okay - I've been unable to find a 1/48 F-14 from Academy. I won one from Ebay but the wrong kit was shipped and I'm waiting to sort it out with the Seller.Angry

The LHS has a Revell-Monogra, and an Italeri. Which would you choose?

Nice, your thinking high road to revenge. Alot of the aircraft shown never featured in the sequal.

Ill be scratch building from already finished kits that were heavily damaged during the December earthquake.

Ive got as follows.

1:48 F4U-4

1:48 ME-163.

1:72 F-100 Super Sabre.

1:72 Mosquito

1:72 P-51A (Italeri one with D wings)

And a whole bunch of sheet styrene and styrene rods. Im sure i can come up with something.

This is the last photo i took of the MiG. I have added an access ladder since then. I just have to add the figures to finish it off. It was the 72nd old Hase kit. This was one of two builds i did for the swing wing GB. The other was a P.1101

Cool, Got some pic's on that MIG-23?
Would be cool to see somebody build one, or a SU-24,
I have my eyes on one in a store in a HS not to far from where my GF lives.

Scorpiomikey
Yeah, I know all those planes, I've even build a Shinden about 2 years Back.
About the scale, I'll just leave it at TBA.

Okay, That's good for me, it actually looks like a shinden with a tail on it's belly instead of the wings and with a duo-prop.
What scale is that?

Theres the Henschel Hs P.75, The Kyushu J7W1 Shinden and the Curtiss XP-55 Ascender. All similar designs.

At this stage call it 1:72nd. That may change depending on which cockpit i decide to use. Im carving up a mix of 48 and 72nd scale aircraft. hopefully this works.

I built a MiG 23 last year, but i do have 2 F-111's and a MiG 27 in the stash. So if i don't feel upto the triebflugel, or if i have time after that, i add one of those.

Well, I think it has relativly small wings so yeah, why not?
they aren't really that standard in my eyes, I'll add ya

Helo H-34
Sure, I just wanted to say that I like the XC-124A more than the other one,
But then I saw you were going to start with that one, so yeah, okay, I'll add you to the roster.

Scorpiomickey

Btw, I'm still silintly hoping for someone to enter with a F-111 Aardvark or a MIG-23...
Nobody willing to build that one? I haven't acquired one of those two, otherwise I would add em here myself.

Regards Ninetalis.

Yup. Almost identical. Different nose profile though. Couple of other differences. But i doubt anyone will notice too much.

I see. I just had a look at the P-75 on the Luft 46 site. They are almost identical.

I dont beleive so. The P-75 was a luft 46 design. The Bloodhawk was from a game lol. Performs admirably in the game. Has a high stall speed though.

This is what im looking at building.

Its very similar to a henschel p-75.

Some of the lines will be different. And ill have to sort out the hook. (it was specially designed to be launched from and captured by rigid airships)

I picked up three interesting 1/72 kits recently and I was wondering if one of them might be suitable .

The first two are Anigrand's DOAK VZ-4DA VTOL and Bell's X-22A VTOL "Tilt Rotors"

The third option and my favouite of all three kits isAnigrands XC-142A  "Tilt Rotor"

I recently bought a nice 12"x9'' photo off ebay of the XC-124A , so I would like to start with that one if that's okay ?

Would the Harrier with it's Anhedral angle  wings, fit this category?

Jack

I wasn't planning on any SF stuff. I'm slow enough that one build is enough for me. It was just a random question that popped into my noggin. Propeller

I got this off E-bay today - $25.49 USD including shipping. About $10.00 less than any of the LHSs were advertising (if they even had it in.)

I can only think of one word.... YES!
I'm soooo happy that your going to make that one Hans!
On swanny's models you've got some pic's of someone who tackled this thing before....

Oh no.. Don't wanna look.. I want no outside influence other than the "photo" I posted.... Be interesting to look after the fact though...

you want me to put you up for that one to? Doesn't matter if you don't know if you're going to fit them both within' the time scale, as long as you complete 1.

Regards Ninetalis.

Don't worry about, my first goal is to complete the tornado Big Smile

will take some picture of actual staus asap

Found the unnecessary kit for the strange fliyng thing, the old airfix/heller super etendard. I've already complete a good academy high detailed  s etendard for the falkland GB then not need another one Yes aso i paid only 3 € for it Embarrassed
