Hooray for Hollywood 2014 GB extended til July 4th

Just freindly reminder here. Shooting starts 12:01 am Thursday.

Also just a note to keep our GB on page 1 of the group builds

If anyone has to wait a couple of weeks or so to get their kits, don't worry, I have to wait as well

So, I am getting hooked on these GB's and saw this one after reading Bish's thread on GB's.  So, permission to join with the AMT/ERTL Batwing from the "BATMAN" movie.  And in keeping with the "make sure you are having fun" rule, I had my daughter pick the kit for this GB and my wife picked the one for the US Carrier Aviation GB!  They had a blast picking the kits for me! Thanks!

Yeah, I had narrowed it down to 2 planes for the Carrier GB when my wife came down, so I had her choose.  So I thought it would be cool for my daughter to pick the one for the Hollywood GB and I wrote on little pieces of paper about 12-15 kits I had that would fit the GB.  Put them in a box, shook them up and had her pick.  She loved it!  I saw that the Batmobile from the same movie is being done!  That was one of the ones I had in my stash and for her to possibly pick.  Turned out well I think!  Thanks for "casting" me!

Seeing as how I already started the Pilatus PC-6C,in the Air America Build, going to enter the C-123 Provider. It also is in the Movie " Air America".

It will be a way more challenging build, due to the resin body.

Hi Everyone,

You may recall that I'm doing the Batmobile for this GB.

Here's the starting photo. Lots of black plastic, kerbside. AMT/ERTL chose to bag each sprue individually to protect it, except the clear one, which was unprotected. Interesting.

I'll make a start today, I think.
