That looks real nice.  I always liked the early P-40s best, and the display with the wheels being retracted is an interesting touch.

I'm done with the P-40. Not a bad kit for a 60's vintage. Not much in the way of detail and I didn't add any other than the gear.

I also made a cast of the exhaust manafold and while that was drying I added some oil and paint chipping to the engine as well as the fuel line. I will add some plug wires and anything else I can think of. 

I may not have got it primed but I did end up getting very close. I think I got enough clamps on it...

I tore my apartment and garage apart looking for that blasted tailwheel! Finally, I stole - I mean, BORROWED one from another kit I had in the stash. There is a good chance that Revell customer service will make good on it - I have had good luck in the past.

Didn't exactly make a radiator but did block the scoop & exhaust off. Swapped out the paper tanks in the kit for some metal ones from an Otaki kit. Very much hoping I have it primed by the end of the weekend.

Hey, GT, I don't think it hurts either way, it just depends on how it looks to you.

MoCrazy, have you considered using solder to create some cool aftermarket headers? Even if you don't replace it, I wouldn't close up the hood, it's hard to notice them once the engine is in. If you're missing the right side, you can run some heater hoses over that area to disguise it and add some detail.

I'm almost finished with the P-40. I applied the decals and waiting for them to dry. I'll add some weathering then a flat coat. No pictures.

I started painting the 57 and am working on the engine. The paint still needs some work. I can't find one of the exhaust manafolds so I'll try to cast a new one. If that does'nt work I'll have to close the hood.

So while I was decaling I notice the placement guide had stencils shown for the US version and not the RAF version.  Do you think I should leave them off or put them on?

Man, I really enjoy the Mono Mafia GB's.  Love seeing the older kits..the ones I remember from my youth.  Great work everyone!

Well here she is.  My final entry.  The Mig-15.  There were no fit issues for the most part, but the canopy is a little "odd" if you will.  Flops around too much on the track.  Might just glue it open.  Hard to see any detail in the cockpit too.  I tried some weathering on the metal plane.  I think it turned out o.k..  Panel lines show up pretty well.  Anyway, here it is.  Thanks for looking.

Got the radiator scoop cleaned out on the Monogram 1/48 Mustang last night. Still need to made some semblance of a radiator and ducting.

Also got the exhaust pipes drilled out. My enthusiasm was dampened by the fact that I realized I am missing the tailwheel for this kit. Seems to be a recurring theme on my builds lately!

Well, I hope everyone had a great Hump Day! 

Ok folks, I will be steppping away from here for the next several weeks. Mississippivol will be running this show in my absence. I will check in from time to time, but have no idea how much time I will have to do so.

Keyda, I was able to get one of your builds added to the honor roll photos but not the other. I may end up using the double build photo.

In the meantime folks, keep up the great work and carrying on the family honor.

Hey everyone....great work on all these Mono/Revell kits!!!!  Some of the great ones are being done.  Love checking them out!

Here are a couple of more pics from the Mig-15 build.  Had some freaky stuff happen with the silver paint, but she is turning out pretty well.  Tried a bit of weathering on the silver too.  Not sure if I like it or not yet.
