Looking good Joe. You have way more patience than I do.... I am amazed at the foil technique. I read years ago in FSM that boiling the foil w/ eggshells changes the tone.

All, I got a bit done on my M8... I managed to get 6 road wheels sanded... YEAAA!!! Disapprove [V] SO ashamed...

Well I got my firefly all painted with decals on, Now for those nasty dragon Indies, I think they will take just as long to do as the tank its self.

Nicely done Richard. Very clean build.

A couple of small comments, add a few straps to your bags so they're not suspended in air and tie them to something. And a little shine coming off one of your roadwheels, hit it with a little more pastel to dull them up.

Thanks for sharing with us.
Happy Modelling and God Bless Robert

Here is my finished AFV Club M10, it is OOB, and was a very fun build. The only problem I had was that the rubber band tracks were slightly small and need to be stretched a little. Please don't critisize my work, I may have a breakdown! Just kidding, please feel free to help a fellow modeler out! Fire away!Big Smile [:D]

another view, I can't figure out what the dark spot behind the saddle bag is, the only thing I can figure is a drop of water got on the thing while I was taking the picture, but it's not there nowQuestion [?]

Spitfire looks like a Spitfire. Wings on, canopy ( closed) on, tail-planes on, under-wing airintakes on. ML 407 had it's cannon placemnet reversed, ie, the short cannon was on the OUTSIDE on the leading edge with the gun-fairing on the inside of the leading edge. This has caused a slight problem in that I had to cut the panel with the blisters in half and swop them over.
Now I have a lot of filling to do.
Also, ml 407 apparently had a belly tank. This isn't included in the ICM kit, but remarkably, is included in the ancient Monogram Mk. IX kit tat resides i nthe bootm of my never-see-the-light-of-day pile. This kit also donated tyres fro the wheels. The hubs, the plain, flat versions are donated by the Hasegawa I/48 and they fit quite well. The struts are ICM.
So, a real Heinz 57 kit, then.

All I need to do is prepare a barrel of filler and away we go......sanding once again.
( this is going to go right to the wire.......)

Bill, you're welcome. The Flag looks great in your sig. Actually, Rock has a nice ring to it. Maybe I'll change my on-line nickname Smile [:)].

its not to late, as long as ur building something from D-Day or (june 5-8)
U r in!

I got a little interior done on the left fueselage, (ok, i cant spell that word, i dont usually build these wingy thingys) I am a very slow builder! And to my dissapointment, i started to rush the interior steel bars and they don't look too goodSad [:(]
hopefully i will do better on the seats.

ok folks i am almost ready for the foil. wow i used a lot of putty. about a quarter of a tube. of course some was lost in the process of putting on a toothpick and then to the a/c. i know i can use a needle to keep the putty from drying but the drying time was not a factor to me. i have a little touchup to do as the port wing developed a crack at the seam. i also have to touch up the lower fuse. will have pics later this morning i hope.

Sorry, the only info I can come up with from Squadron's Panzer In Action, is that many J's came with the late idler. I see a picture of a knocked out #634 with the late idler.

Not sure of your question ghettochild, but I'd lean to the late idler. The Panzer J late in the war had these tubes which mesh metal schurzen hung on, unlike the more familiar metal plates that you'd see on Panzer III's and IV's.
